I use these for making larger holes in steel first in a beam to put my post that support my house onto the beam with and then I use them to modify a hitch extension to change it from a 12 inch to a 7 1/2 inch extension. They make short work of making big holes in steel.

Purchased to use the largest size on the drill bit, works alright in a drill but I tried using it once on an impact driver and the shaft immediately snapped. If you plan on using this a lot, stay away from using it on an impact.
