Used it to take the stock switches out of a tacware phantom elite pro... they are very very very stuck inside the sockets, so i had to use great force to pry them off they board, however this withstood the job, and if it didnt warp from that, this tool will serve you well for just about any switch removal job. ... show more

Puller came nicely packaged and easy to use. I had issues with a generic one that came with my nuphy keyboard and would be difficult to pull the switches out. This one was firm and easily pulled the switch out. Definitely recommend for anyone needing to swap switches.

I have a lot of switch pullers, so I can say with confidence that my experience with this thing is not operator error. It is so stiff it barely does the job. When you pull up, be prepared, because if it slips and pops you, you will bleed. Unlike any other I've ever bought. For a very simple tool, this item is exceptionally well made. The powder coating was thick and smooth. Nicely formed tool that fits well in hand. The packaging was elegant and secure. I used it to remove the key caps from an old Macintosh keyboard for cleaning. Worked perfectly.

    • Bends too easily

Good for a quick key job but it won’t be very useful once metal fatigue breaks the ends off. Find a better one if you plan on using it more than once. I replaced 7 switches with it. Also will break the key switches you pull with it by collapsing the outside too much to be reused.
