This is the 1000W model. Purchased this back in 2021 when I thought the world was going to end with covid zombies, only used it once when I first bought it with my car and worked perfect. Now I use it with the solar batteries on my travel trailer, cant power the outlets in the trailer directly (need a different type of inverter for that) but I find that with a multi plug extension cord I can run a couple fans, swamp cooler and TV while charging a couple devices with no problem during the day; at night with only the fans and swamp cooler going I get about 6 hours b4 the solar batteries drain but the inverter has more then enough power to make it happen when youre traveling between the grids. The inverter does have an alarm to let you know power is running low or your fuses popped, learned that the hard way when I put the trailer plug to it 😅. They make circuit breaker fuses I would recommend getting some so if you do over load it your not trying to find a fuse to replace its also good so you can test it yourself to get an idea of how much load your inverter can take without needing to replace multiple fuses. I bought the 1500W power inverter to be used with my solar system added to an RV. The unit I got stopped working after some uses. It is understandable that even good products failed from time to time. I contacted the seller via messages on Amazon. Just after a few questions and answers the seller agreed to send me a new one. I received it in two days and added it to my solar power system right away. Now I have the electricity I need while camp out in remote locations. I highly recommend this product. I've left it out in the rain. I've carried it around by the wires in the back (daily, for months). I've dropped it several times. I've removed the buzzer inside that makes the annoying beeps. I've ran it hard, at 1300W for 8 hours at a time, daily for months, in the hot ambient temperature under the hood of a truck. And it WILL NOT DIE. It was my "lifeline" when living off grid for a year. I test a lot of inverters for work. Tons of 1500W and 2000W models (ampeak, jupiter, wzrelb, and other Amazon models.) This is by far the most resilient workhorse of them all, and worthy of 5 stars. ... show more

Ok so this little inverter works great for charging my laptop which has a 45 watt charger, a cell phone on an 18 watt charger and both USB ports charging portables. This has to be done with the van running of course. Without it running it will just set an alarm either from overload or from under voltage and the inverter will shut down. It never really gets hot although the fan is a little noises. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I thought the inverter had 2 quick charge 3.0 ports and it does not. Matter of fact that is the reason I chose this one. Maybe my fault for not digging deeper on this one but I feel like it should be upfront in the first place. ... show more

    • Destroyed my heat gun

I bought this to run off my truck to do a project on my boat, which is parked where I don't have power. My son joined me, and happened to have an inverter as well, so I had an opportunity to do an informal comparison. First thing you notice on this (NDDI 1500W) unit is shoddy build quality -- heat shrink tubing not shrunk around the cables, the front and back red plastic panels look like they are made from a grade of plastic more commonly seen on 99 cent children's toys, and an overall crude/cheap feel. I should have sent it back right then and there, but decided to try it. I was initially using my son's Krieger inverter in his truck, which btw performed flawlessly and had a very nice look/feel, but after he left to go to the store, I hooked this one up to my truck. When first connecting to the battery, the connections were sparking even though the unit was off; but I figured maybe there is a capacitor that needed to charge to "prep" it. First use was a soldering iron, which seemed to work. I then moved to the heat gun, which was working great using my son's lower capacity (1000W) Krieger inverter. But when I plugged the heat gun into this unit and turned on the switch, it did not turn on (no fan) but after a few seconds started smoking. When I later checked it at home, it was fried. I am guessing the quality of sine wave this puts out is very substandard, where some tools may tolerate it and other won't. My heat gun clearly did not. Bottom line don't waster your money if you don't want to risk cooking the tools you are plugging in. ... show more

My son works in auto glass and was using a mobile Milwaukee vacuum that ran off of batteries that could never last for as long as he needed to use the vacuum for, we purchase this to be able to plug in a 5 gallon shop vac, ran off an extension cord to use to vacuum out his customers cars and its performance is impeccable. It works a lot greater than we even expected, and my son is extremely satisfied with the 1500 watt product, and would suggest it to anybody looking to run any kind of equipment that requires being plugged in to. ... show more
