My mom would love to make deep fried shallots and garlic for toppings on noodle dishes, soups, salads, etc. But, she doesn't want to stink up the whole house. This is perfect for just that. To the previous review that complained about 'E0' error message: you need a pot or pan on the stove before it will work. It states in the manual. Why 4/5 stars? Because the stove only works on flat bottom pots and pans. Which means it limits the use of the current pots and pans we have that is curved. Highly recommend this product!     • Kinda works good
When it works it works really well. But it is temperamental and decides not to work sometimes. I know you have to use certain pans for convection. And it has to be super clean all the time. But sometimes it won't detect the pan and it gets annoying. But I be eating.
