Tent is comparable quality to many more expensive brands out there. And also appears to be the identical tent to ever other hardshell tent on the market I have seen at overland expos. Walls are made of heavy fabric that is waterproof. Tested in a heavy rain and lighting storm over the 4th of July weekend in North Carolina and we stayed completely dry. Fabric also blocks out all sunlight when completely zipped up so it makes for a restful sleep in a busy campground. The bed is comfortable enough and comes with a moisture barrier. I added a pillow top full XL mattress topper and it made it perfect while also still being able to close the tent. The ladder works great as well. I am 250lbs and it had no trouble supporting me. If there is one thing I would like to see improved it has to be the qualm of the zipper. They functioned fine, but seemed to be cheap relative to the excellent quality of the rest of the tent. And lastly, the seller was extremely helpful and communicated constantly while waiting on delivery. This is shipping from China so there are potential delays, but the store stayed in constant contact with me and offered to keep me happy in any way I chose while I waited.

So, the product seems to be a good quality, HOWEVER the delivery was LATE and delivered upside down with 2 dents on the top of the aluminum shell!!! (the upside-down part was TOUGH, since it took serval people to turn it over so we could open it correctly). To say my husband was not happy, especially since it's a pricey rooftop tent, was an understatement... Thankfully the dents didn't pierce the aluminum shell, so the tent is functional, we still need to take it camping. (it was supposed to be delivered before our last camping trip but came 2 days after our return).

I unpacked the unit and it seems in good shape. I set it up in my yard, but have not used it on my truck yet. The only feature I would like that is the back side to allow for entry like the Roof Nest, but for $2,000 more I can live without it. Shipping was prompt and the trucking company delivered it on a lift gate. The crate arrived upside down, but not the sellers fault.

Great unit, shipping took a little longer than expected but no big deal, the item comes pretty much ready to go right out of the box, the foam pad inside will do for the occasional weekend out, but I plan on using this thing everyday for for foreseeable future so I will be investing in a better sleeping pad, I have had the unit for a few weeks now and have slept in it almost every night since, either out in the woods or in my driveway, I have been in the tent during some torrential downpours, there was a small leak coming from one of the corners, but not something that couldn't be fixed with a bit of silicone in the right location, all in all my dog likes it, my girlfriend likes it, and I like it, so it's a win.

As we started getting into overlanding we started with a few different tents and finally decided to pull the trigger on the nature nest! Price point it was where we wanted to be and is very similar to the Roofnest we were looking at. We like this one because it’s lower profile on top of my vehicle from our previous tents which to us looks better and helps with gas mileage. The pockets in this thing are super helpful, the mattress is comfortable but we have a cooling memory foam that we put on top of it. The condensation mat was a huge upgrade from our last tent as well as the bungee to help pull in the side material when packing up and we love those added features. All in all it’s a great tent and we’re excited for our next adventure! *****UPDATE**** its now Feb 2025 and we have used this tent every other weekend for the last few years we have contacted the seller because we needed a few parts that have worn or broken and its been 6 months with no response or parts received since they said they would send them! Our Struts for the tent have become very weak its been so difficult to open and close the tent those were supposed to have been sent to us, The light has completely stopped working and was also suppose to be sent, we now have a problem with the latches on the exterior they are extremely hard to latch and sometimes will not latch at all! As much as we use this tent and have spread the word on how wonderful it has been for the price point as we continue to use it and things continue to wear out we were extremely dissatisfied with the customer service when we were told they would replace the items and then never followed back up or sent them.

Initially when I bought the tent it had some damage. After submitting picture, company made attempts to be fair about resolving the issue. I’m not pumped about the initial issues with the shipping company but the tent seller did everything they could to stay in communication and try to make it right. Heavy tent to get up on top of my truck. But feels sturdy and durable when you get inside and I’ll take that trade off. Ease of opening and collapsing is an exceptional feature.
