I bought this from a review on a YouTube channel, not about this specific brand but the idea of a rear tent/awning. It was fairly cheap like $59.00 . This is one of the very few products I have ever bought that ended up way better than I expected. Back from a camping trip in the high desert. Super windy. So windy, my car side awning was pulverized! Yet, this thing was installed in less than 5 minutes without even looking at the instructions. And even with super strong gusts of wind, it never failed and stayed in place the whole time even at night. It really helps with car camping ventilation and providing rear access while keeping bugs, bees and wasps out. One day, lunch time, with the Arizona sun right above the car and zero shade, I was able to use the tailgate shade for my chair while the car is ventilated and stays way cooler. This car-tent is very easy to install and works well. I had camped in my Subaru Outback many times, but this addition adds to the roominess and - most importantly - airflow in the car. It was up for nearly a week, performed as expected and appears to have not leaked during a rainstorm.

The media could not be loaded. Quick and easy to assemble and remove. Gatorade duty? ...great for car "screen door" for soccer mom days! Easy in easy out zipper funtion on tent and screen sections.

I must say I am extremely impressed. Fits my Ford Transit Connect perfectly. Note does not come with poles to make awning must purchase separately. Bungees needed as well to attach to roof rack for tension. Made it through super rain and all. Very impressed at functionality and easy install. Note also looks like it has a loose fit on most smaller vehicles use bungees for tighter fit. ... show more

Seems to wrap around the back of the car quickly and easily. I strapped the top to my roof rack instead of over the door. Haven’t tried it in rain yet.

The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying I love it. The only reason it gets 4 stars in installation is because, when I opened the package originally, it was not intuitive. I am also a 5ft woman traveling alone with my GSD, so figuring out how to tie it to the roof rack of my vehicle was a little difficult at first. So… if you have the same problem I do and are vertically challenged, try it at home first! Install it and take it down a few times so you get the hang of it before you’re in the middle of nowhere and can’t figure out which way is up/down and in/out. “Pro” tip: shiny side faces in and the side with the 4 tabs are for tying it to the top. Other than installation issues in the beginning, the tent worked beautifully. Also I am not paid to write this ad, I am just super satisfied with my purchase. It fits back into the bag it came in without issues, I just roll it up and stuff it in. Lol. It went with us to 5 different states over a week and I was absolutely thrilled at how we fared with the elements. One morning we woke up in 28 degree weather and honestly I had no idea until I unzipped the net the next morning. Another morning we woke up to a thunder storm and we had no water leaks. All around a great value if you are car camping and are looking for this kind of setup. ... show more
