We like this tent-it adds a lot of ventilation to our van when we go camping. We've taken it on three or four trips now. The quality seems decent (basic lightweight nylon) and the design fits well on our 2017 Toyota sienna. So far the zipper is holding up. It's easy to put on-easier with two people, but one person can do it as well. We never use the available cording at the top and attach it to the front of the car because it fits tightly enough around our back hatch. As you can see, it doesn't fit around the bottom bumper great but that has not been an issue at all. Just remember, you don't want to start your car with this over the back if it's in front of or around your tailpipe! As seen in one of my photos, we have a couple of really heavy duty magnets that we attach at the sides so there's no gaping for bugs to get in. Otherwise, it fits quite tightly on our make and model of van. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with tent poles for the back. I bought some from another seller and because they don't have stakes on the bottom they don't really work. (Buy after market poles that have a point at the top to put into the tent flap grommets and that have stakes at the bottom so they will be secure and stand up!) We haven't always camped close enough to trees to tie the canopy flap out. This last trip, we just tied the string into the end of the canopy flap and staked them to the ground. ... show more

I bought this because my husband and I like to go camp at the beach and we have to take so much stuff. Was trying to cut down gear. It worked better than I had hoped. It was easy to set up and held up in the wind. Instead of a tent and a canopy we now only have to take this. This was a great buy for the price. Would totally recommend! ... show more

Great idea, tight fit but worked well for a short weekend camping trip. Only takes about 5 mins to attach and adjust to have it fully set up. I hadn't tried sleeping in my 2018 Chevy Equinox since I got it, but with this combined with an SUV mattress it was a pretty sweet setup. I'd definitely recommend you measure your vehicle before purchasing, but there is a good bit of flexibility in getting it fitted to your hatch. Fits my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan perfectly. Only trick if it gets caught on rear windshield wiper. One person set up and take-down. Quick and easy! Sun shade can be rolled up and tucked away, extended with included poles, or strapped down for semi-privacy or rain. Not black out.

Cute, easy install, has nice bag, I think made well. But...how much we tried to hook it sides and top was leaving gaps! Did snug nicely on the bumper and tires , but sides and top didn't work well. We tried tied them but left even bigger gaps. So we just snuged around trunk door the best we could but still was gaps. Not sccute from buggs. Not sure how will be in rain and wind since can't tie them property. Other we would love it. ... show more

I had to return another product that claimed (correctly as it turned out) to fit “most” SUVs. I watched a review of this product on the same vehicle as mine and decided to give it a whirl. This one fit perfectly, and was easy to install. I did find that it was easier to install the wheel clips on the inside of the mud flaps first, then slip over the lift gate with the added tension. The Sequoia is a fairly tall vehicle so this helped. The installed tent took less than 5 minutes and was perfect. It even gave the feeling of having more space inside the vehicle. The zippers all worked perfectly and the awning did its job at night. And yes, it all fit back into the stuff sack when removed from the vehicle and now lives permanently in the cargo area. 5 stars for sure! ... show more
