I had high hopes for these. Unfortunately they didn't seem to make a difference with our son. He didn't like the taste of them either. He said they tasted like carrots. Since he has been on new medicine he has been continually losing weight. I was hoping that these would either increase his appetite. Or decrease his nausea or both. Unfortunately they did neither. For us, on our budget they were pretty pricey. Some of the other reviews did say that they work, so maybe it is just based on individuals. Sidenote. Hawthorne seems like an.. interesting flavor choice. It might be more appealing for others if they had other flavors available as choices.
