Pros - Good value like the title suggests. You get what you pay for - The seat cushion is comfortable and the lumbar support is good - I appreciate that the arm rest is adjustable, and I can raise it if I want to sit cross-legged Criticism - The neck rest and attachment is awful. It sticks out so that when it was attached, I felt like I was being forced to lean forwards. For myself, I didn't need the headrest so I removed it, and I have no issues without it. - The materials themselves feel sturdy, but don't look/feel like the "highest" quality. You can see some roughness in some of the curved surfaces based on their molds. - The wheels on the bottom does not slide well. Ok so I'm very mechanically inclined. The assembly pictures are pretty straight forward and if you follow the letters and most of the pictures you'll do fine. The picture where attaching the base plate to the seat could use some adjustment. The pic shows install the base plate with the back of the chair towards you with the handle to the left of the diagram. If followed, you'll be putting the base plate on backwards. If you desire the chair to tilt forward, that's correct, but should you desire the chair to tilt backwards the diagram is incorrect. Basically, to attach it to tilt forward, handle goes on the left, to tilt backward, handle goes on the right. Either way, all the attachment holes line up. My wife wanted it to tilt backward, so I reattached the base plate with the handle on the right side of the chair when facing upward. ... show more

Not long after my chair arrived I received a letter bribing me to give a 5-star review in exchange for a $20 Amazon gift card. I refuse to participate in a scheme to fool fellow shoppers who depend on honest reviews. Cons? -lever mechanism constantly veers off track -permanent lean to the left -creaky and loud -seat requires a cushion to be even usable -mesh on back starting ripping out of place after 2 weeks use Pros? -fairly cheap price (when I got it) Honestly, it's probably not possible to get an amazing chair in this price range. It does seem like one of those categories of products that you get what you pay for. UPDATED 04/03/2023 I have to give credit for the customer service department for reaching out to me. They did resolve my issue, and (as mentioned in my previous review) it's not realistic to expect a perfect chair in this price range. Took me 30 mins to assemble. The parts were packaged so neatly so I wasn’t worried there might be a screw missing. Instructions were good but I think it would be perfect if u can also show the parts needed on the bottom of each assembly pic. But that’s just me being picky, I’d say instructions were big and clear. It took me 30 more minutes because I put the toggle to raise/ lock the chair backwards lol so it was tilting forward instead of leaning back. But that’s my fault, hope no one makes the mistake lol the circular knob that u turn to increase tension of the tilt should come to the front of the chair fyi. But the chair is comfy. Easy to put together. Neatly packaged. 5 stars 👍 ... show more
