I have three cats and a busy schedule, and knew I’d eventually need a robot vacuum to help automate my cleaning. This Narwal vacuum has been a life saver for me, and technology is genuinely impressive. The Freo X Plus stood out for its hardware specs and price point. The suction power of this vacuum seems to be stronger than the competition, which results in near spotless floors. I’m very impressed with its ability to vacuum corners. The mop is budget level, but sufficient enough to mop light stains and remove dirt. After cleaning, the vacuum returns to its charging base where it conducts self cleaning. After it’s done, I’m informed to change the mop pad (Washable and reusable). I also refill the water when low and check to ensure the brushes are clean. The dust bin container is decent, Narwal claims 7 weeks before emptying, but if you have lots of pets, you will need to change it much sooner. A huge plus for pet owners is the never tangle brush, which actually works to prevent hair from tangling on the brush. This makes the Narwal much lower maintenance than other vacuums. Narwal made swapping parts user friendly which I really appreciate. The app gives tells the user the amount of uses left for the brushes, which are easily swappable. The main downside is the software, there is sometimes issues with mapping that take the Freo time to adjust properly (which means running more cleaning cycles and adjusting areas in mapping.) It is also not great at object avoidance, so be sure to clear your floors of objects before cleaning. Hopefully software updates can improve all this. Overall the app is well developed and includes lots of information about your robot and its cleaning tasks. There is a good amount of customization, such as adjusting the suction power and mop wetness, as well as a scheduler for daily automatic cleaning. I am concerned with the longevity of this vacuum since it is a lot of technology crammed together, but at the moment I am very satisfied with this robot. It cleans my house multiple times a day and it feels very fresh. I give the Freo X Plus a solid 4.5/5.0

The media could not be loaded. A year ago, I purchased my first robot vacuum, a Eufy L35 Hybrid, and after a week, I had to return it. My house has carpets, tiles, and hardwood flooring. Also, I have a big size dog (66 lbs) with long hair. I had big issues with Eufy generating a map of the house, dividing it, and it was impossible to send the robot vacuum to vacuum/mop the bathroom at the end of the carpet-covered corridor. It was stuck constantly, and I had to follow it when I turned it on. After having lots of conversations with support, I had to return it. After that, I was skeptical about robot vacuums until I met with Narwal Freo X Plus. The product quality and packaging are very high-level. Instructions are clear, and setup is very easy. It mapped my 1500sqft one-story house in 8-10min. It missed some small areas at first, and I contacted with the support via chat. They told me that sending the Narwal again to the same room would update the map. YES! The app showed me the area that needed to be updated, and boom, the missing area appeared. I want to point out that their support is also great and attentive. Dividing rooms, naming them, setting up customizations and suction power are easy tasks for Narwal. It can jump over my NuLoom Rugs easily (check the recording). Don't make the small dust bin fool you; as I said, I have a dog with long hair, and the dust bin is really enough and effective with its' dust compression feature. Also, the brush is ALWAYS clean. NO TANGLING, WOoHOOO... The last thing I can give feedback on is the application. It needs some design improvements (UI/UX) to make it more user-friendly and clear to the user in terms of order of the actions and wording. Overall, I am using it daily (Narwal is with me for 21 days) since I purchased Narwal and I can't imagine the performance of the higher models. I love it and it saves a lot time for my daily chores. Narwal changed the bad reputation of the robot vacuums in my mind. Thank you....

I plugged my robot 45 days ago. The only time it worked without issues was the first time I used it. Narwall support told me my hard was outdated and that all ai needed to do was install the new version. I did, the problem persists. The purpose of getting a robot was to help, instead it is causing more trouble and frustration. Even though everyone I know has a loving relationship with their Roombas I decided to go for Narwhal because on reviews on youtube it appeared as the best one doing the combo. I like that it is a “swiffer” like moping since the next best thing is having a dedicated mopping robot. When it works, Im happy. It doesn’t substitute a good old fashion mop, but it allows me to mop less often. I really wish Narwal would solve the issues or give me a new one or a refund. My return date is already gone. :-(

I am so glad I found Narwal. I don't know how, but hair does not get tangled. I have two long hair dogs and I have long hair. We have had this for a few months now and it still works great. I love that it will vacuum and mop at the same time. The app is super janky and doesn't stay connected to my Android, but it's a small price to pay when the cleaning part works just fine. It also allows for multiple maps so I need one vacuum to clean 3 levels. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed... Except for the app.

The only negative is that it leaves a little dirt on the corners and plinths.. Sometimes it gets stuck under the coffee table.. But the vacuum cleaner works great. Setup was very easy and the program is self-explanatory. You can also choose only one room for separate cleaning. Also, the cartography in the program is clear and was created on the first attempt
