This panel worked perfectly as an access to my attic from inside the house. I have a huge section of my attic that is very difficult to access due to vaulted ceilings. So happy to have found this. It is solid and looks decent mounted in the ceiling of the master bath. Fit nicely between the rafters.

This access panel door is very cheaply made. The panel doesn't hold paint well and every time the door is used a lot of the side of the paint comes off. Also it doesn't open and close easily. I am thinking about replacing it due to it's cheap quality!

I’m very disappointed with the Fengze Thicken 0.048-inch Metal Access Panel (14" x 29"). The main issue is the top magnetic lock, which simply does not engage at all. Because of this, the panel will not stay securely closed, making it unreliable and frustrating to use. Installation was otherwise straightforward, but a non-functioning magnet defeats the entire purpose of a clean, flush access panel. I expected much better quality and basic functionality from this product.

I have tried and returned 2 others that are the same dimensions, (plastic and aluminum metal). Plastic one was much cheaper and you get what you paid for. I tried a metal one that was cheaper than this one and it was the thinnest metal ever and weighed as much as the plastic one. This one is denser weighing 3x the first metal one I tried and is much better in quality. It also came with screws and extra components which I did not expect. I do wish however that the screws were actually in the baggie provided and better secured with tape rather than loosely thrown in there.

After buying a couple plastic ones that I didnt like, this was well worth the extra money (relative to plastic ones that look and feel horrible and don't last). The powder coating is legit, and it is durable. It is well packaged too.
