Unit is exactly as described. It's well built and I am extremely pleased with the product. Product was well protected for shipping and it arrived to Florida from California without a scratch! When remodeling our kitchen, instead of spending $3k plus for one side by side, we were able to buy 2 really nice 20 cu ft refrigerators AND put this glass refrigerator in the middle for less money. This gave us more than twice the capacity for less money. I had some signs printed up at my local sign shop that drop into the window at the top so I can change the theme or message depending upon the time of year. It was a little louder than I expected when I first plugged it in, but once I had it set in place, the unit leveled, and it ran for a week or so - everything settled in and now I no longer hear it. Communication with the supplier was good - they notified me every step of the way. There are 3 changes I would love to see - 1) a separate light switch for the top light and one for the cabinet light - the top light makes a great nightlight in the kitchen but the cabinet light is way too bright. 2) Install a rheostat dimmer switch on the cabinet light - it is bright! 3) an easier way to adjust the temperature setting. It works off a PLC controller and you have to go look it up on the internet to figure out how to adjust it. Would be nice just to have a simple knob to turn or two buttons - press up to make it warmer, press down to make it colder. That being said however - it really wasn't that difficult - and EVERYONE that comes into our kitchen is blown away - they love it. They thought the whole thing was one really large frig unit. Very disappointed. All of the delivery information that I put into the order was ignored. This went to a new small business and no one was there to receive it. The driver called a number to a different store location and luckily was about to get a hold of the manager to go unlock the door. When it was dropped off, the outside packaging was completely intact. Once it was removed (the driver was gone) a big dent and deep wide scratch was found on the side. It was obviously shipped in that condition. It is missing the shelf brackets for a full row. So now I can't use one of the shelves that they sent. I have reached out to the main company hoping they will send some. It seems to be cooling fine. The interior door stays fogged up which makes it hard to see the products inside. Overall not pleased with this expensive purchased. ... show more

The refrigerator is a very sturdy design suitable for commercial use. The shelves and supports are metal. My unit arrived with some shipping damage, but NAFCOOL customer service was very responsive and sent parts to fix the shipping damage. The LED lighting is great and has an on/off switch. The controller design has settings for temperature range and defrost cycles, but it isn't intuitive. The controller is made by Carel, so documentation is available on the web and a quick reference sheet was sent with the refrigerator. The front cooling fan runs continuously and the noise level is 53 dBA at 1m. I measured power consumption of 78W with lights and no compressor, and 214W with the compressor running. I connected the refrigerator to the wall with a bracket to prevent mishaps. The unit is tall and narrow so it might tip if it's not moved carefully. ... show more

UPDATE: I can't change the temp to display in C rather than F (there's a code in the manual but that code doesn't exist on the fridge). I have set the temp to 39F, the fridge cools to the temp, then the fan turns off / temp rises / fan doesn't come back on / temp stays steady at 48F I am very disappointed with this seller and the product they delivered (NAFCOOL Commercial Beverage Refrigerator Cooler, 18 Cu Ft Small One Glass Door Merchandiser Refrigerator). The delivery experience was terrible, communication with the seller was slow, and the product arrived dirty inside with countless flaws. I told seller about the quality of the delivered product and they asked me to send pictures. I sent them these pictures on 7/21/23 and have yet to hear back (today is 8/14/23, so it has been over 3 weeks). I paid for a NEW refrigerator yet I received what equates to USED quality. Why I say "used quality" - there were stains (plural) on the floor of the fridge. All 5 of the shelves were chipped in at least two places and flaking their coating in multiple areas. There were foam pieces and metal chunks throughout the floor of the fridge and inside the rubber gasket of the door. The gasket appears to be melted or warped. I had to puncture the gasket in order to access the top screw for the door handle (poor quality control there). The caulking is dirty, peeling off at some points, and just overall sloppily installed. The shelf clips were flaking and had extra metal chunks that make it not sit level. The insulation foam was sloppily installed as well - the worst example of this is on the outside, top left of the lighted display. There was scuffing both inside and outside - indicating the scuffing is not solely due to shipping/packing. The paint is scratched in multiple places on the outside. And there were water droplets inside the fridge at the top left after ~17hrs of being on - luckily that issue hasn't continued. Regarding the seller communication and terrible delivery experience - I ordered on 6/16/23 and was given an ETA of 6/30/23 - 7/6/23. The fridge was not delivered until 7/21/23. I told the seller multiple times, by phone and Amazon chat, that our loading dock hours are 8am-4pm and gave them clear instructions on how to get to our lab from the loading dock - they did not pass this information on to the freight company as requested. I asked them to give the freight company my cell phone number, as I was on vacation and not able to answer my work/desk phone - they assured me they would but they did not. Delivery attempt #1 - no warning from seller OR freight company; they arrived at 4pm and didn't know where to go. They called my desk phone one single time and left a voicemail. So, the seller didn't tell them about loading dock hours, didn't give them directions, and didn't give them my cell - awesome! "Delivery attempt" #2 - seller called my cell and gave me a delivery window of 10am-2pm the following day. I told seller AGAIN to give delivery people my cell and to tell them about the loading dock hours and directions. I told my colleagues to listen out for my desk phone and gave them the estimated delivery window. No call (desk or cell) from freight company on the expected delivery date. I contact seller the next day (I am now back from vacation) and seller says they delivered the fridge (!?!) - fridge was not delivered to my lab, so where is it? I tell them this, they send me a signed delivery form, I don't recognize signature, I tell them to open a claim and get a hold of the freight company to figure out where it was delivered to. Turns out this signed form was for a different product to a different lab on campus and that my delivery was not completed because the driver didn't know where to go (!!!???). Delivery attempt #3 - seller called my desk phone at 9am and says the delivery person would arrive that day between 11am and 1pm at that this is their final attempt and if not delivered today, it will be returned. I am told that we are the next delivery for the driver. I repeat the loading dock hours and explicitly tell them to tell the driver, they assure me they will. The driver calls me at 3:30pm and says he'll be there in 30-45mins (!?!) - I tell him the loading dock closes at 4pm and he is shocked (seller did not tell him). I had to leave for an appt so I gave him a colleagues phone number. Driver calls colleague at 4:45pm (30 mins later than he told me) and doesn't know where to go - I guess he parked on the road and had to push it around on the sidewalk, up the handicap ramp, and through the narrow doors (there's a reason we have a loading dock). Colleague looks it over quickly and signs off. I get to work the next day and take a closer look - some issues could be from delivery but most seem to be from manufacturing. I call the seller, tell them about all this, they don't apologize and assure me it is a new fridge and they don't sell used fridges. They ask me to send pictures, I do, and they don't reply. Overall this was a terrible experience and I wish they would reply to me and maybe kick back some money for the hassle and poor quality. Oh, by the way, the pictures of the unit on Amazon were misleading. There were images that showed the five shelves installed, indicating they would supply 20 shelf clips. NOPE, they only supply 16 clips - enough to support four shelves. The seller told me the 5th shelf is to put on the floor of the fridge and that I could buy more clips from them on Amazon - for real?? At the very least, they should send me some more shelf clips. ... show more
