I brought the MZX cordless battery snow shovel for my husband for Christmas for our back porch because it is high off the ground. My husband said it was very easy to assembly, and charged the batteries. On 12/26/25 we had a big snow storm. On our porch we had anywhere between 6-8 inches of snow. Because I love gadgets, and trying new things I decided to do the back porch, while my husband used the big snow plow to do the walkways, and part of the driveway our snow plow guy could not get to. We are very surprised how well the MZK snow shovel worked. After playing around with it, I found if I shoveled 1 path the entire length with the Cordless MZK shovel and only did half a width of the shovel for all the other lanes it worked faster and more efficient, and throws the snow a decent distance. For me a 72 year old woman it was easy to use, I was able to use with 1 hand to push it with, and Video with the other, and it was not too heavy to lift. The only thing is the batteries only last a little over 20 minutes, but they do give you 2. Except for batterie power both my husband, and myself are impressed. We hope the MZK will last for many year. 2nd video I sent in is from the storm that was all up & down east coast 1/25/26 the snow on our back porch was well over a foot deep. My husband said it was much easier then using just a shovel..

The snow shovel works pretty nicely with powder and less than 5-6”. The snow gets thrown really far! Once you get into heavier snow, as others have said, the battery just doesn’t seem to have enough power to push through. It dies within 15 min with the heavier stuff. One really nice feature-You can direct the snow in multiple directions. On hindsight I would have bought one that plugs in.

I had zero expectations for this tool, but with a big snow moving in and me with a bad shoulder, I was desperate. Boy was I surprised. This thing moved snow like a champ. I had to get out there every couple weeks of hours and don’t know that it would have handled a heavy wet snow, but it did the job. It even handled a couple of inches of sleet with no issues. The batteries charge relatively quickly and even in sub-freezing temps they last long enough to get the job done. It was easy to use and to put together, and light enough to handle easily. It had enough power to move snow off the walk and to keep our walks and driveway clear. I even let my neighbor use it the day after the storm to finish clearing his driveway and it did a great job.

Does not blow snow! Got this as a Christmas gift to myself to help me with the snow removal. I am a 74 yr old widow with RA so shoveling is out of the question because of health. We got about 5" of fresh light dry snow yesterday and I tried it out for the first time right now. Was easy to handle but it only pushed the newly fallen light dry snow, it did NOT BLOW the snow so after a couple of passes trying to get it to blow I gave up. I feel very upset because it cost a chuck of my social security check to purchase and I do not feel it was worth it. The quality was very good ,it was easy to push and easy to assemble I just wish it would have worked.

I brought this item several months age, anticipating use for the winter. It's clearly made for fluffy, light, powdery snow. It would not work with heavy, ice laced or icy mix. When tried to use on heavy mixture it simply cutoff. The battery was fully charged. It will not take any torque from heavy snow/ice mixtures. When I ran the machine without pressure, it worked fine. I recommend an a shovel with 40v battery and heavier moter.

I was a little hesitant in purchasing this as I wasn’t sure how well this would work. We got snow through the night so I was excited to go out and give it a try. We have a long, sloped driveway. I was pleasantly surprised how this shoveled did the job. It was windy so the snow did blow back on me and on what I already shoveled. I didn’t want to turn the direction due to putting snow all over my neighbors house. The batteries lasted longer than I expected. Much easier all around than pushing a shovel, lifting and tossing snow.

Pros: - Worked well with up to about 6-7 inches of snow - Throws the snow a pretty good distance - Extremely easy assembly - Light weight and easy to use Cons: - Build quality is terrible. Within 10 minutes of use the handle had cracked and I needed to use duct tape to prevent it from spinning. - Battery life is 15 minutes tops. Had they not given a 2nd battery I’d say this is almost unusable based off of battery life along. So, don’t plan on tackling a large amount of square footage with this. It’s a step clearer and maybe a patio type device. Not meant for an entire drive way. - Price is very high for what you get. $130 for 10 minutes worth of work hardly seems like a good deal. Overall, when it worked it was great. Unfortunately, it didn’t work all that long and I had to break out duct tape 10 minutes in. For these reasons, I’d have to give it 2 stars. Wouldn’t purchase again. I’d encourage others to do their homework, but something tells me these are all kind of the same.

It's somewhat easy to install. Sometimes it's difficult to insert a bolt through a hole of the handle bar. That's because there is a wire inside. I like how this shovel has a curve handle to hold for one arm use without stretching. The noise level is quiet. The price is somewhat higher than most other cordless snow shovels.
