Using this transformer now for two weeks in the US with my moved equipment from Germany (230-240V): Rocket Espresso Maker, electric coffee mill, Thermomix TM6 food processor. Max wattage per major machine ~1400W, attached to the transformer with a multiple socket connector. Certainly use only one major end-device at a time, however coffee maker and mill also together. The transformer is the only device I found that does not look like an ugly brick, but very stylish indeed. Easy to apply, easy to use und no perceived noise at all. Some limited versatility as it does only step-up transformation, but that’s all I need. Price seems fair. Certainly after two weeks no long time experience. Bought a Smeg espresso machine from UK, didn’t realize about the voltage difference... Therefore, I ordered this transformer and it works! And it’s much prettier than other old style transformers :D P.s It’s kind of heavy, not for travel purpose.

I use this for my Tassimo coffee Machine that I brought from Germany. Instructions say to plug in the converter and wait 5 seconds and then plug in the actual machine to the transformer. I’ve used it quite a few times already. My coffee machine is a 1,300 watt coffee machine and I don’t have e any problems using this 3,000 watt converter. It’s pretty heavy and as big as my coffee machine but it is easy to store and has a nice carrying handle. ... show more

After 4 months' lightly use, the back of the product was burnt and looks very dangerous to use as attached, seems like can explode at any time! Further worse, the attitude of the seller is bad and refused to do any refund or exchange, even though the Amazon customer service told me there was a 1 year warranty for this product.
