The 18kw did not work for pool or hot tub use in the USA based on not having a ground fault that met the requirements in the USA. Maximum amperage for gfi is 60 amps. Manufacturer sent me the correct unit (11kw) free due to this issue. Great customer service.

We’ve only had this spa heater for a couple of months, but so far it’s more accurate and works faster than the previous 40 amp units that we’ve had. Perhaps because we have salt water the previous units decay quickly, but this is the best so far. Only minor downside is you have to use Celsius not Fahrenheit
