Very nice kit. I just have 2 complaints - Side view cameras don't easily flush mount. I'm guessing the way they come they aren't expecting anybody to drill a hole in their body work so the wire is supposed to come through the door jamb or something. I installed there on the front cap of my class c RV so it was no problem to drill through the fiberglass but in order to completely hide the wire under the camera you really have to bend it. - No reverse signal input! I can't believe it doesn't have it. I like to keep the sides & rear on and it would be great if it just went to full rear when reversing instead of me having to manually do it. Fortunately I have a reverse activated camera on my infotainment. Overall very please. Haven't been on the highway enough to test the blind spot features but it seems to work on people at least. ... show more

    • Plug and play and you are in business!
I love this dashcam! I loved it so much that after I installed in my son's car I bought one for my car. Everyone needs a dashcam unless they drive a Tesla like my husband which records on it own. This is the easiest dashcam to install, which thoroughly and pleasantly surprised me because like many females I am not super adapt at doing car installation or handyman types of jobs. You may have to look a moment for your car's cigarette lighter. I bought 2015 RAV4 for my son and I was at first scared there was no cigarette lighter based on the statements of one of the reviewers and only the cell phone plug but this car has both...the cigarette lighter is more hidden but it is there I bought another one originally that was about 3.5 times ($200 plus dollars) the price of this one and seemed to require a professional installation for which I got quotes of $450 to install. I returned it and got this one which was on sale for $60 at the time. The reviews are right. This dashcam is plug and play. Now the only con is the app that comes with it, I still haven't sorted that out or got it to work as listed ... show more

I have at least 4 dash cams in two cars and I wanted one more for side body cams. Don't care for front and rear. Bought two since this one look promising according to specs and user reviews. First, connected all and tested and all turned on fine, so I went ahead and installed. But the reason for being this a worst dashcam is moving object on the screen has annoying motion tails and there is no way to adjust or remove it. Basically unwatchable while car is in motion. Why hasn't anyone mentioned this? Never seen any dashcam does this. Other cons are: 1) This has very limited settings options to control. 2) Brightness setting doesn't stick. I much readjust every time it turns on. 3) No flip option for rear cam so must install the cam upside down. I couldn't reverse the mount either. But it does have mirror option for all cams. 4) No exposure value settings for cameras. 5) Mini USB charging plug, not type C. Now I know why this dashcam is cheaper than most. Installed this setup on our new service van since a lot of our past vehicles had been in accidents that were the other patrons fault. I leave the screen on the rear and side view cameras. They really help cover your blind spots well.
