This standing punching bag is all that I needed. It is made of great quality (thus far) and I love the boxing gloves. It is easy to use with water or sand. I choose to use both and it works for me.

The shipment arrives in 2 boxes. Ours came the same day. Overall the quality seems good but filling the base was way more difficult and frustrating than we expected. Good thing we got to use it for anger management when we were done ;) We tried to use a funnel to fill the base with sand but the funnel gets blocked up. We needed two people to fill this. One had to hover each of the 50lb bags of sand above the hole while the other held a piece of cardboard folded into a “V” to try and direct the sand. Let me just say that I am glad I attempted to fill this on our porch and not in my house like originally planned. It did make getting the base harder to drag inside but we managed. All said and done, we filled the base with 150 lbs of play sand. We could have squeezed more in but having to constantly stop pouring to rock the base back and forth to level the sand was tiring and added to the frustration. We did not install the suction cups as we currently have this in our living room on an area rug. It seems sturdy and could handle a beating while staying upright as long as you don’t try to perform any football moves like tackling it. I don’t recommend putting water in it as the plug is like a soft rubber material sort of like what we used to have on our piggy banks tummy to plug the hole. (Same concept). Putting water in it will most likely leak and get very gross and stinky quickly as this would be difficult to drain and dry out thoroughly.

IT TOOK LESS THAN 10 MINS TO PUT TOGETHER WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS. IT IS STURDY. MY BROTHER AND I ARE LOVING THIS PRODUCT. MY 44 YR OLD BROTHER IS ACTING LIKE ITS CHRISTMAS AND THIS IS THE BEST PRESENT HE EVER RECEIVED...LOL...

Set arrived on time and it was a Christmas gift. Relatively easy to put together. Filled the base with 3 x 50lbs sandbags. Even with 150lbs of sand in the base and with the sunction cups the base is coming of the floor with medium strenght punches of my 14 years old son. It is OK for light and medium boxing cardio, but it won't replace hanged 100+lbs boxing bag. Also the bag arrived deformed in a spot show in the photo. I was hoping it will raise, but would not even after couple weeks. It is just a defect of the bag due to poor quality control and/or poor packaging. Only time will show if the bag leather will hold up to the task.

This heavy bag is good if you are renting an apartment or house and don’t want to drill a real hanging bag from the ceiling. When you add sand the base becomes heavy but it still falls over if hit hard enough, and the suction cups just fall off. I’m 5’7 so I aim at about 5’9 to 6’0 so the bag falls over. Good for just a small workout not for someone serious about boxing.
