I’ve had a linen duvet for over 10 years from Macys and it was finally starting to wear out, but I needed a new one because I got a bigger bed. I love linen because it keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It’s cool to the touch so it’s grounding. Macys didn’t have anything in stock in the size and color I needed, so I had to go another route. This one fits my down comforter that is the same size, perfectly. They also match my other linen Euro shams in the same color, I’m so happy! The fabric is soft but it’s linen so a tad scratchy before washing. It washed up so well and is the slightly wrinkled linen look. My new bed looks so amazing! I adore that it came in a heavy canvas bag with drawstrings, I’ll find something to use it for. Ties on every corner and in the middle, a beautiful linen and a zipper closure versus buttons, it makes it so much easier. I bought this Duvet almost a year. I love it. I use it year round, with a comforter in the winter and without a comforter in the summer. I love the extra interior ties to keep the comforter in place. I've been very careful with washing and drying to mitigate any shrinkage and so far have been successful. It seems to be getting softer with every wash. To the manufacturer: the Olive Green is too much like an Army Green. A Dark Evergreen would be more preferable. Great quality for the price. I really do love this. I got the dusky blue color and it is perfect for what I wanted. I washed it the morning after I got it and let it air dry most of the day, and then put in dryer on low heat for about 20 min or so. It came out fine and has that unique “linen wrinkle” to it. Wash and dry it several times to ‘de-shed’ (if that’s even a word,but I doubt it) . You’ll get a lot of lint in your dryer but it softens the fabric. I love the slightly wrinkled and natural look. It fit on my queen duvet perfectly.
