I got this for my mom Christmas of 2022! Once assembled, it’s been a wonderful porch chair. The wood is durable (it is thinner, so after some time it started to BARELY creak when you sit on it), it’s comfortable, and it hasn’t fallen apart despite how bad the humidity is outside! It’s handled adults up to 200+ pounds, and hasn’t broken yet. I’d just suggest not jumping onto t, otherwise it should be long lasting.

This item has been of low quality from the beginning. There were cracks in the surface of each slat of wood, which we attempted to resolve with the seller, and then we discovered, after light use that the hardware included to hang it turned out to be subpar. The hardware sent to hang the swing was defective and caused my son-in-law harm as one of the hanger hardware hooks (pictured) sheared off and hurled my son-in-law and young grandchild to the ground. Miraculously, they ended up being ok, but my grandchild could have been fatally harmed. This 1-star review reflects the poor craftsmanship, and I want others to be warned. If we'd known how horrible this product was, we wouldn't have purchased it, or we'd have paid to upgrade to sufficient hanging hardware that would not shear off with very light use! This has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Don't waste your money on this product!

Easy to assemble came with some minor damage and it’s not solid wood. It’s almost like balsa or particleboard, but I didn’t want to break it open to find out. I’ve had it outside for about a month and it seems sturdy enough for me because porch swings are ridiculously expensive.
