DI love these cup warmers. In the past I had use a different brand that only had an off and on switch. I like this one because I can control the temperature, which helps when you have cups with a bottom rim. My flat cups keep warm on the lowest temperature, but cups with lips need the warmer temperatures. I also thought I wouldn’t like the auto off feature, but I do! I sometimes accidentally left my old warmers on overnight or longer. Now this won’t happen with this brand. I read the one star reviews, and did not experience what they said was a bad smell when turned on. I bought three of these to place around my home where I spend long periods of time. So far, they are just what I needed and hope they last longer than the old brand. The old brand would peel on the plate and eventually looked pretty shaggy. They had to be replaced every couple of years, as they stopped getting warm enough to keep my tea drinkable warm. One thing I noticed, the bottom gets pretty warm but I put a decorative tile or coaster under them to protect my wooden tables.

This thing keeps my coffee and tea HOT on the highest setting. Almost too hot. But the temp can be adjusted to suit. Looks nice and cools quick when turned off. Highly recommend!

The best and safest of all these coffee warmers. It has buttons on the front that can't accidentally be turned on, which happened to us with our former ones that had the button on the top and took no effort to push. This warmer has the buttons on the front and they need to be clicked to turn on, not just touched. It looks good too, with the wooden surround, instead of shiny plastic. It has auto shutoff too. My only gripe is turning it off is a two handed thing - one hand to hold it from sliding back and the other to push the button.
