It was readily available and I received it within 2 days. At first I was disappointed that it was bigger than I expected but within a day of receiving it I had need to keep warm a dish of soup (bigger than my mug) and this warmer was perfect to do the job, and did it excellently at the 176 degree option. So the size provides more options than the ordinary small warmer. The shut off is a good safety measure, the cord is a good length and though I don’t need the light it is also good to have so that can see exactly where the warmer is in my dimly lit living room. I like that the color blends well with my brownish wood decor. I wasn’t sure having the knob’s on the side would work well as opposed to the top but it is especially handy when there’s a wide dish on the warmer (you can still see the buttons with them being on the front side). I think this is a reasonable price for this item which seems to be just what I needed for keeping my tea sans soups warm, or using as a candle warmer at its lowest temperature. I highly recommend this one.

I've been through a couple of these. Most are barely large enough in diameter for a large-size tea or coffee mug, and in heft, flimsy at best. They move around on the desktop as if by themselves, when you, mesmerized by your worksheet on the computer, obliquely reach out and flail around with your blind hand for the fix. This one is solid, not overlarge but substantial, well-built, and also - very cool, with airplane lights that are understated which you can easily turn on or off. I use a large, wide-bottomed heavy mug that doesn't easily tip over (on Amazon - "Garnome Large Ceramic Coffee Mugs, 20 oz Handmade Pottery Mug, Big Tea Cups with Handle for Office and Home") and this unit is plenty wide enough in diameter for that mug. On top of all these good qualities, this product's wood finish is quite good-looking, not plasticky, the buttons' use is obvious and simple, the rubbery feet at each corner glom onto a smooth-surfaced desktop so that it pretty much always stays where you put it, the high temperature is perfect for a piping hot drink, and I will add a final benefit that may not be obvious or matter to most buyers ... this is secret knowledge! but, it works fine on a 220V circuit ... if you happen to live in, for example, Thailand :) :) I have been designing products for many years and I would give this one a very high grade!

Absolutely love this beverage warmer. It plugs into the wall (no USB), has three temperature settings, and six timer settings, as well as lights up depending on the temperature. This warmer is hot enough to keep my tea or coffee piping hot for hours. I bought three - one for my work office, one for my home office and one for my husband. I highly recommend this - very well made and is very stylish as well.

I was more than a bit hesitant to purchase this item, but upon using it every morning since I bought it, I love how it heats quickly and warms the coffee just as it promised in the ads. It has a solid base that is wide enough to handle any sized cup (I have three basic sizes). The button options that indicate power, a time that has two-hour increments up to 12 hrs, and a light make it simple to use. It does not take up much space. A good safety point is the message listed on the hot plate that the surface is hot. A good reminder! Although I am retired, I wish I would have sprung for this device when I was working! Far too many cups went cold when I got too busy to finish what I had.

I make my coffee by pour over. So, when I complete making a full cup (mug), it has already cooled down slightly. I guess I could place my mug on this warmer while I go through the process, but that is awkward. Anyway.... the first thing I do after the mug is full is place it on this warmer at the highest temperature setting. It takes about 5 minutes to get it to where I like it. I turn the warmer on before I start making my coffee so it is at max temperature when I place the mug down. I do have a flat surface mug. I have read reviews complaining about the temperature of the bottom of the warmer getting so hot it destroys the surface it is sitting on. I have not had the issue. When touching the bottom of the warmer, it is indeed warm, but not scorching hot. I guess it depends on the material and quality of surface you are setting it down on. Anyway, to be on the safe side, I place the warmer on a bowl, and set the bowl down on my table. The only complaint I have is the length of the power chord. My closest outlet at any of my seating positions leaves the cord floating in the air. I would not fret about the warning regarding use of an extension cord. The warmer is a low power device. Extension cords should not be used for things like microwaves, toaster ovens, refrigerators, etc. I use a 1,350 watt rated extension cord for this 36 watt warmer. I never leave it unattended. The advantage of the extension cord is not only keeping all cords flat on the floor, but it is also long enough where I can move the warmer to another location without unplugging.

A house guest was using mine to warm candle jars instead of lighting the wicks. Has 3 temp settings, so good for that. I liked it enough I bought another. My cups have rims on the bottom, so I always set it to high temp (176F) for coffee. If you can find a flat bottom coffee cup you like, you may like the lower temperature setting. It fits next to my computer and turns off at an interval you preset 2hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs....12hrs. I set it to 2 hours so I won't set a fire and burn down the office if I forget to turn it off.

Excellent devise to keep your coffee warm/hot! I use the lowest setting and it does an excellent job of keeping my coffee as warm as I like it. There are two higher settings if you really like your beverages piping hot. The three levels are distinguished by either red, purple or blue LED lights, so it’s easy to tell when the unit is on and whether it’s on the setting you wish. I’ve tried other warmers, and this one is heads and shoulders above the rest. You won’t be disappointed.
