I love this coffee mug warmer! I find the lowest setting, 130°F, to be plenty hot enough. It keeps my coffee or tee at the perfect sipping temperature, even though my coffee cups have small, concave bases. When my coffee got cold because I forgot to turn it on, the highest setting, 176°F, warmed it back up within a few minutes. I like the wood look better than plain plastic, and the smooth, glossy pad the cup sits on. Classy! 😀 You do have to keep that part clean because, from personal experience, if you let spilled coffee bake on, you'll have a hard time getting it clean again. The auto-off feature is reassuring for those of us prone to forget to turn it off. After I'd had mine a few days, my husband started dropping broad hints that he sure wished he had one of those ... so I bought another one He loves his, too. No more gulping beverages when they're starting to cool off. We can take our time reading or watching TV and savor every sip.

I have another brand of mug warmer and this one easily tops that in terms of appearance and temperature settings. The Lights on the bottom can be switched on and off and give a nice reminder that the warmer is on. The highest temp setting will practically reheat your cold coffee so be careful to not leave it on this setting for too long. I have the "wood" model and it pairs beautifully with my desk at home. Great value, will probably purchase another soon to keep in office.

My coffee mug is shaped like a volcano with a 4-1/4 inch bottom: bigger than allowed by many warmers which is why I chose this one. The landing site is 5-1/4 inches wide so there is plenty of room for bigger mugs. The actual heated warming area is 3-1/4 inches which works fine. My mug has a slightly concave bottom, and this warmer still heats it really well. I like the temperature settings: 176, 150, and 130. The highest setting is enough for most anyone and a bit more than I need when the entire mug gets that warm. That's where I begin, and later I'll turn it down to 150. The lighting changes with the temperature: red, purple, blue. The light can also be turned off if wanted. It is really great to always have my coffee hot instead of cooling off. Should have bought this long ago. I really like it. The lid in the picture is the IPHOX Creative Mug Cover which I also bought on Amazon and really like it too. Get them both!

This is a great warmer. it doesn't just keep my coffee warm it will heat it back up if it cools off. I haven't used it for anything else yet but this warmer would easily keep a bowl of soup hot. The three settings makes it so that I can enjoy a nice warm drink. a slightly hotter cup or if I've set my coffee down somewhere and forgotten it for a bit I can quickly reheat it on it's highest setting. Plus it looks so nice with its wood grain finish and glass top.

I make my coffee by pour over. So, when I complete making a full cup (mug), it has already cooled down slightly. I guess I could place my mug on this warmer while I go through the process, but that is awkward. Anyway.... the first thing I do after the mug is full is place it on this warmer at the highest temperature setting. It takes about 5 minutes to get it to where I like it. I turn the warmer on before I start making my coffee so it is at max temperature when I place the mug down. I do have a flat surface mug. I have read reviews complaining about the temperature of the bottom of the warmer getting so hot it destroys the surface it is sitting on. I have not had the issue. When touching the bottom of the warmer, it is indeed warm, but not scorching hot. I guess it depends on the material and quality of surface you are setting it down on. Anyway, to be on the safe side, I place the warmer on a bowl, and set the bowl down on my table. The only complaint I have is the length of the power chord. My closest outlet at any of my seating positions leaves the cord floating in the air. I would not fret about the warning regarding use of an extension cord. The warmer is a low power device. Extension cords should not be used for things like microwaves, toaster ovens, refrigerators, etc. I use a 1,350 watt rated extension cord for this 36 watt warmer. I never leave it unattended. The advantage of the extension cord is not only keeping all cords flat on the floor, but it is also long enough where I can move the warmer to another location without unplugging.

I have purchased about 4 of these over the years, and this is the best one. The 150 setting keeps your coffee and a perfect drinking temp. I opened the box and plugged it in, that was all it took to get it to work. I work 4 days a week 10-hour days, so this warmer gets used often. I love the auto shut off, because I often forget to shut it off. I have spent more than $20.00 on a warmer and less, and none of them worked as well as this one. If you are a coffee lover like me this is the perfect warmer.

I bought this to warm my lotion since it is so cold in our house in the winter. I keep the lotion in a safe mug and turn it on 130° on the base. In about 5 minutes I have nice warm lotion that feels heavenly. Might use it for my coffee in the summer...we'll see!
