I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this pan. Yes, I read the measurement but for the price I was expecting it to be much smaller and include the handle as part of the ‘size’. It’s also very sturdy and I’ve been able to cook several quiches in it in my oven and made a pan seared steak on the stove. Same quality as an old pan I bought a few years ago for $60 but less than half the price, which is a tremendous value!

I've cooked with a lot of cast iron skillets since I was a young girl so I have experience with these. This Mueller cast iron skillet is great for frying chicken, eggs, burgers, apples, corn bread and making gravy. You can cook anything in these and it will add iron to your diet as well. I've had a good experience with it and as long as you keep your skillets seasoned they will last you a lifetime. The extra handle is really nice when you're pulling it out of the hot oven, you really need it so you don't accidentally drop it and burn yourself in the process. The price on this skillet is modest, but the quality is really good. Love it!

I bought this not knowing what to expect from the company since it isn't one of the "big guys" in the cast iron world, but I have nothing but good things to say about it. I had to move unexpectedly and in the commotion it was left behind by accident (mixed in with things that were supposed to stay) and as soon as I realized it didn't make the move with me, I decided I would replace it with the exact same one.....no need to try out a different brand, I want this exact same one again. ;-)

I think it would be hard for a cast iron skillet to be bad, so it isn't surprising this is great. It's a good size, hefty, as these types of things are. The double handles are fantastic, though, especially since cast iron is so heavy, especially filled with food! Well worth the money.

This is the first time I used a cast iron pan and I have to say it was a pretty good experience. For me it's a learning experience because I've never used one before but I'm guessing if you've used one before you should have no issues using it. I did try to make an omelet and the egg stuck but I think that was more user error. I cooked chicken right afterwards and barely had any sticking. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be which is nice. I haven't had to re-season it again but there are instructions included in the box which help you on how to do it if you don't know how. It also gives proper care instructions for the pan which for me is very helpful.

This is a great pan to have around. It's a bit hefty, but that's exactly what you want in a cast iron pan. Once it's heated up, it retains it's heat well, and is great for searing meat. The preseasoned finish is pretty good, and just takes a couple of greasy meals to bring up to snuff.

I've always loved cast iron pans and the traditions they build within kitchens, so I certainly have a few different pieces. This pan actually managed to become my go-to though, as it's quite loveable and cooks perfectly! The pan is literally just the right size for nearly every meal I cook, but what really sets it apart is that it's not a really thick or dense cast iron. This means it does heat up a bit faster, isn't ridiculously heavy so don't have to use 2 hands when using it, but still provides the cast iron cooking benefits!! Seriously, I've been quite impressed
