Great scan tool The CR-Max can work with many brands of vehicles. My favorite feature is the bidirectional interface where you can activate your windows, door locks or sunroof to open or close them to test if they don't work with the switch. Can even check all the warning light on your instrument cluster and the analog dials and even your turn signals in your mirrors and all outside lighting Can reset all maintenance reminds like Oil change or Service reminders etc. For the price it's the best scan tool I have ever used

For the price, this was a great deal. It's also incredibly easy to use. 3 stars because it didn't find the second code. I went to AutoZone to have my check engine light code read and the guy told me my Toyota was reading as a Audi.. He gave me a code to google and it just didn't seem right. I figured he was doing something wrong and it would be nice to have one of these on hand for this issue and future issues as my car is getting older. When I tested with this, it pulled up a code that made much more sense, although it said the reader didn't have information on the code it was easy enough to google it. I went to a different AutoZone (this one was much better!) to try to get a confirmed reading of the code, just to make sure this thing worked. AutoZone did pull up the same code as this reader! However, there was a secondary code that AutoZone received that this OBD2 did not. Overall, I do still plan to keep this as it read the main issue and I won't use it in replace of a professional code reader.

does what most entry level readers do, but this is about the most affordable. Download of initial data a bit slow, but the functions after that are fine. I have used the data stream mode to trouble shoot overheating issues with two separate cars. Gave it just 4 stars only because of the slow initial data load.
