This is my first time using a scan tool of this level. There is a lot of features that took me awhile to figure out where the module was that I needed. I'm sure it will get easier with some research. The wireless connectivity is a little slow but I may be from the in depth scan it completes when first connecting to a vehicle. I purchased specifically for a Mercedes-benz GLA250 transmission fluid service. You have to monitor the trans fluid temp at exact temps to make sure fluid level is correct. The great thing about the wireless feature is I can monitor the temp from my work bench an not have to keep it in the car. The screen is clear and has good resolution and was easy to set-up. The free updates are a huge plus since I am just a DIY guy. So far I am happy with this product.

Expensive, works great. I had my doubts as I didnt think it would do much for my 2005 Chevy Colorado Z71LS 3.5 But, surprised me with all the things it can do. It told me what was wrong with my airbag and where to correct it instead of searching all over the different connectors. it has live data to check all the ecu and bcm componants and things I havent needed to check yet. if you want a Quality scanner with AI and bi-direction control this could be the one for you. It does more than you expect amd has free lifetime updates. Works great.

Right off the top, its great. However it does have an issue that may be a dealbreaker for some. The unit has decent capabilities to many cars and aside from the odd menu structure, its fairly intuitive. It has a solid list of features and the price is reasonable for the abilities. HOWEVER, the key programmer appears to be very limited. My car was "Supported" but there are very obvious problems. For me, the scanner asked for PIN to program the new key and let me know that it would allow "2 or 3 attempts before locking it out". Yes... it literally said "2 or 3" tries. That should have given me pause, in and of itself. But since I didn't have the spare fob with me, I just canceled the process and went to grab the key. When I tried a again, it told me it was locked out. Yeah... lock out before I even put a PIN in once. I waited for a few days and tried again and it let me enter the PIN and then began the programming of the key, but it asked me to take the key out of the car and put in the master key. However doing that required turning off the car and removing the spare. In doing so, it failed. Upon going back in, it again stated the PIN was locked out. However, this time it didn't unlock and free up on its own. It is still locked out to this day. P.S. I'm using it on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it probably allows support for about 65% of the features. Many advanced features are not supported, but many sensor readout functions work. However, the bi-directional features are the ones that are hit and miss.

Good basic code reader but the reason I am giving one star is this: I ran a Transponder Code Erasure special function on a 2004 Toyota 4Runner immobilizer, the scanner initiated the procedure deleted all keys then lost connection and bricked the vehicle when I contacted support they took a week to tell me the function was not supported by the scanner or the vehicle. It cost me $100 to have a local tech rerun the function with a XTOOL scanner and "unbrick" my vehicle. The one star is because support is not helpful dismissive and the functions are still advertised for this vehicle which tells me I cant trust an of the special functions listed for this scanner which is why it stands apart from a basic scanner so 1 star I recommend looking else where for a scanner. The value you get with this scanner is misrepresented.

I’ve been using the MUCAR 892BT for a while now and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations for the price. I work on cars regularly (both personal and side jobs), and this tool has made diagnostics much easier and faster. First of all, the bidirectional control is a huge plus. Being able to activate components like fuel pumps, fans, injectors, etc. directly from the scanner saves a lot of time when diagnosing issues. Not many tools in this price range offer this level of functionality. The interface is very user-friendly and responsive. The touchscreen works smoothly, and the menus are well organized. Even if you’re not super experienced, it’s easy to navigate. The Bluetooth connection is stable and connects quickly without issues. Vehicle coverage is also impressive. I’ve tested it on multiple brands (including European and Japanese cars), and it worked great. It reads and clears codes fast, shows live data clearly, and the graphing feature is actually useful when tracking sensor behavior. Another thing I liked is the AI-assisted diagnostics. It gives helpful suggestions and saves time when you’re trying to figure out where to start. It’s not perfect, but definitely a nice bonus feature. Battery life is solid and lasts through long diagnostic sessions without needing constant charging. The build quality also feels durable, not cheap like some other scanners. If I had to mention anything negative, it would be that some advanced functions may require updates or subscriptions depending on usage, but that’s pretty common with most modern scan tools. Overall, this is a very powerful tool for the money. Whether you’re a DIYer or doing side work like me, it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

I read a lot of reviews regarding this scan tool and decided to give it a shot. The price is reasonable for a DIY'er. Shipping was really fast, I had it within 2 days. I was really hoping it would work out for me, however, I did not have a very good experience with this scan tool. I had great wifi connection, but it took me FOREVER to get any updates to go through. The updates failed time and time again even with full wifi connection. I eventually got all the updates to go through, and proceeded to test it out on different cars. When I did the auto-vin ID, I would have to do it twice. This scan tool is not the easiest to navigate or use either. On 1 occasion when I hooked it up to my Suburban, I couldn't start it because for whatever reason it set the theft deterrent system off, so I had to disconnect it and try again after I reset everything. I like that it has a stand built in, and the dongle is held to the back with a strong magnet so you don't lose it, and it comes in a nice, convenient carry case with everything in it. It may be a great tool for some people, I just wasn't happy with it so I ended up returning it and purchasing a different brand. I don't necessarily need super fast, but reliability is important to me.
