Description

This is a complete package, and includes an MTX loaded car subwoofer system with Mono amplifier and complete amplifier installation kit. The MTX TNE212D combines great subwoofer design with perfect enclosure design to deliver bass that far exceeds expectations. The unit is a dual 12 inch sealed enclosure with a single terminal cup showing a final 2O load to any connected amplifier. The Terminator subwoofers used in the enclosure include durable polypropylene dustcaps that can survive the rigors of most trunks. They are also lightweight, allowing them to efficiently move using less power. Each subwoofer can handle 200 watts RMS power, resulting in a power level of 400 watts RMS/800 watts peak for the entire enclosure. The subwoofers also incorporate Spider Plateau Venting, which is a mechanical cooling process that allows the subwoofer to continually refresh the air around the voice coil helping to dissipate the heat generated during extended play. The enclosure itself is made of 5/8 inch MDF.

    • Good subs and amp. Decent bass.
Review Image by Nicholas
These are pretty good and extremely good for the price. I think I used a 4 gauge wire for ground and power. The amp gets a a little warm so I have a small dewalt knock off fan that I use to cool it, don’t know if it’s necessary but it does help with heat. The subs knock pretty good. The bass knob is straightforward and great to have. I would absolutely recommend this set up. Don’t mind the hungry cord in the picture that was temporary. ... show more

    • Loud and clear
No distortion! This setup is the best price amd amazing sound. My son purchased his system for $1100. No where near as clear as mine! I paid ALOT LESS and get superior quality!

    • Teenage Loved It
My teenager loved the MTX Terminator 12" Subwoofer with Amp. The installation kit was a great help. I would, however, been nice to have a few extra connectors and it is a bit challenging crimping that thick 4 gauge power wire and ground. It might be worth the extra money to buy a crimper so you do have to go back and redo all the installation work again. The subwoofer provide a nice solid thump and power to the bass. This is a great to get started in waking up the neighbors. ... show more

    • Go with a different brand!
Stopped working within the first month, amp was glitchy since the beginning and the speakers started to rattle about 3 weeks into having it. I don't really listen to the radio with the volume all the way up because I know it messes up the speakers. I don't know if this combo was a return and I got screwed with it, who knows! I tried to return it but Amazon's system would not let me. ... show more

    • Can't beat this bang for the buck.
Came packaged really well, kit had all pieces needed for install. Sounds fantastic. Can't beat the value at this price. Only thing, I got a 4 guage copper terminal for connecting ro the battery. The rings supplied aren't as heavy duty as I like for battery connection.
