Great set of subs. I purchased the 12” ported unit. Ready to go out of the box. I was slightly worried about shipping but that wasn’t an issue, it was in perfect condition and had that nice new factory smell coming out. My application is a 11’ CTS-V coupe and to be honest I didn’t even measure before ordering and it was a perfect fit. I paired it with a power acoustik rz 1-1500 with boss audio 4 gauge kit and it’s more bass than I will ever need. You can’t build something for cheaper, what are you waiting for! ... show more

    • Best bang for the buck
Arrived in less than one week. Immediately threw them in the trunk with the same amps I already had installed and they sound great. Significant improvement in the stock sound for my Camry. I previously had Kickers which were louder but had a much bigger box and heavier. Now I have more trunk space and great bass in my music. The quality is unmatched for the price. I paid $200 for the vented box with 12” MTX which is half the price of the Kickers but still excellent sound. These add just the right amount of punch to the kickdrum and smooth clear bass that won’t drown out the mids and highs. If you want clear sound in your car get these. If you want to crack your windshield and collapse your kid’s lungs get Kickers. Very satisfied. ... show more

    • Disappointed in sound quality.
Very disappointed with sound quality. When I read the reviews they seemed to be good quality, however once hooked up with a good quality amp I was very disappointed. To top it off I’ve had nothing but grief from the seller. Now I’m stuck with these speakers because I’m tired of dealing with the seller rather than Amazon. Sonic Electronix Inc. is a nightmare to deal with and are not worthy of selling on Amazon. They are the first seller I’ve ever had a problem with in 11 years of buying from Amazon.     • Pretty good for hip hop and rap
Not a terrible starter system for any car that needs bass, but don't expect mind-blowing sound quality here. It does however pump out plenty of volume, and goes fairly deep. Can't really keep up with metal/ faster rock music, but definitely does the job with modern pop and hip hop. I'm not sure if I would buy this again for my personal tastes, but if you just want something loud and cheap this will definitely work for you. I might go for a single 12" but with better SQ next time, as I don't really need all the volume these put out. But sometimes it's fun to just slam some bass as loud as you can. ... show more

    • Make sure your amp is adjusted properly.
After unboxing and installation I was not impressed initially. I had 2 10inch JL audio subwoofers installed previously. I knew these subs would not have such a good rating without them being good subs so I figured it was user error. I have these paired to a 500 watt amp and the amp settings were not adequate for this sub. I made some adjustments to my amplifiers settings ensuring there was no distortion and these subs are crisp.... I paid 500 dollars for my JL audio subs and these will blow them out of the water any day. It hits hard deep, hits the mid’s so crisp that it will make you want to forget about any other sub. I have been into car audio for ten years and these 200 dollar subs out perform 500 dollar and 800 dollar subs in the same class by far. Do the research, adjust your amp, ensure your installation is professionally done if you have no experience and you will enjoy these. I can feel the bass hit in my chest and I have a Scat pack challenger. Go outside and the trunk rattles just a little to the point where you can tell it’s a sub inside but not two 12’s but when you get inside it’s so crisp and clean. I will be putting some sound dampening in my trunk to get rid of that little rattle. Just pay the money if a 500 watt amp can push like that on these subs I can only imagine what a 1200 watt would do. I will be upgrading in the future to bigger amp and adding a capacitor but these should be good for a year. ... show more

Very pleased with these subs. Coming from 1 Rockford Fosgate 12 inch sub in enclosure to these dual 12inches in a vented enclosure. These hit hard with a nice and clean hit. After reading the mixed reviews and researching I decided to give these a try and I'm so glad I did. For the price they are good quality subs. Wrangler Jku in the streets hittin nice! ... show more
