The MSR Universal 1-Person Tent Footprint Tarp can help protect a tent floor and extend the life of any tent suitable for its size. Designed to keep tent floors clean, dry and better protected from wear-and-tear, the Universal Footprint comes in a variety of size options to fit MSR tents. The 1-person tent footprint comes in two sizes: the Regular size weighs .31 pounds, measures 83 by 28 inches, and fits well with the MSR Hubba, MSR FreeLite 1, or MSR Carbon Reflex 1; the Large size weighs .38 pounds, measures 83 by 32 inches, and fits well with the MSR Access 1, MSR Thru Hiker Mesh House 1, MSR Zoic 1, and MSR Hubba Tour 1 or any similarly sized tent. It has a packaged length of 10 inches, with 10-inch width, and 1-inch height and could easily slip into any tent's stuff sack. Includes footprint and a stuff sack. Manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty.

Using this with my MSR Hubba NX Solo. The fit is correct. Having the little cord loops at the corners makes it easy to use. The footprint has a built-in pouch permanently sewed onto it. At first this seemed like a good idea, but it's just in the way. Where do you put it when you're using the footprint? I would store it in the tent's stuff sack, but the footprint's pouch kind of forces you to fold it a certain way, which isn't really a size that fits the stuff sack well. I would have preferred not to have the pouch at all. However, if you're one of those ultralight people who sleeps under the fly with no interior tent, then I can see how the pouch would be more useful. ... show more

I wish when I purchased the newer hubba that it came with it's own footprint that fits with the poles, as they used to. I owned a hubba for a long time before this one and the footprint with that one was superior. I will however adapt to capitalism, efficiency, and it's drawbacks.
