  • Great Computer
Great PC for Gaming or Business. Great capabilities and quiet operation.

  • Good for Gaming/Coding/Browsing, See Detailed Review Below
Here's a quick overview of the computer. Speed: 5/5 Noise (how quiet): 5/5 Size: 4/5 Connections: 4/5 Overall: 5/5 Sometimes it's a bit of a gamble to order a computer with the untypical amount of reviews (others sometimes have 1000s of reviews) but I recognize MSI as a computer hardware brand, so I took a chance on this computer and it paid off. NOISE: I've had this computer for about 2 1/2 months, and so far, I have not encountered any massive problems. The computer is nice and quiet, and even when it does have to use some more processing power, the fan only kicks up in enough noise to notice the difference, not bother you. SIZE/ACCESSORIES: The computer is a little bulkier than I expected, so it was a little harder to move it around willy-nilly, but that's not a huge deal when it's in one place for the majority of it's life. The included keyboard and mouse are great. The keyboard keys at first felt a little high for me, but I got adjusted to them quickly. The mouse that I got did have a small crack in the plastic before the mouse buttons, but again, in the grand scheme of things, that isn't going to impact my computer use at all. OS: Windows 11 is a great operating system, and doesn't have any real differences from Windows 10, so no big deal on worrying that it has Windows 11. HARDWARE: The computer comes with a good set of hardware inside of it. The case has enough space to add more components (if wanted). For the particular model I got, it came with a 1TB SSD, and I went ahead and got a 4TB HDD for extra storage for about $75. It's a good investment to really never have to worry about storage again. Connections on the computer are fine, but I could always use a few more USB ports to be honest. I have accessories on my computer like microphones, speakers, cables to connect my phone, lights, etc. so I have virtually no extra ports left on the back of my computer for all the extra equipment I use. USE: I personally work as an architect and a side hobby as a game developer. Both require graphically intensive programs like Unity, Unreal, AutoCAD, Blender, etc. All of these programs run fine on the computer, but on the game development side, the speed is always going to be determined by the requirements of the project or game I'm running. So if you want this computer for casual browsing, it's honestly wild overkill, but you do you. If you want it for gaming or game development, it's a perfect build for it. Anything beyond that, it could work, but double check whatever you plan for to make sure the parts meet your requirements. I hope this review helps! I like the computer and I think it was worth the investment. Eventually, maybe this computer also hits 1000 reviews haha. Ok, review over, bye. ... show more

  • Awesome rig for the money
I bought this as an upgrade for a four-year-old MSI gaming laptop. For the price I am impressed by what I received. I was on the search for a few weeks until I saw this. As I had an MSI already, that has never given me any issues, I decided to look into it further. Though it is a lower end build it met almost all of the requirements that I had decided on for the price point I was looking for. After receiving the product (which arrived super-fast by the way) I was impressed by the packaging. Everything was padded very well, with no loose screws and all connections secure. The system has powered through everything that I have played, with no real heating issues. The air-cooling system seems to be adequate enough, and generally runs on the quiet side. I was initially concerned about the air flow due to the case design, however it seems to be fine. My system came with the MSI Z490 gaming plus MB, with 4 total RAM slots, another M.2 slot to add another M.2 SSD, and 5 or 6 SATA slots for more storage. I love that there are all these slots to add RAM or more storage as time goes on and my needs change. As for game performance I have seen 175 FPS on max settings on a 144 hz 4k monitor, and generally nothing under 150 on all the games that I have played. I did have to get a different WIFI antenna, due to low speeds. I bought a $16 antenna that increased my speeds dramatically, however I believe my original issue was just due to where I have the pc located. With all of my research at this price, I believe there were few better options. I would highly recommend buying it. ... show more

  • A little upset with this one.
Everything was great until week 2 hit and I had a windows update and I lost everything including my critical files… PC won’t even start up and now I have to wait forever for my refund. I would just buy the IBUYPOWER prebuild at best buy don’t waste your time on this.

  • Great value
Bought this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! It’s so fast! He was very excited when he figured out he can customize the keyboard lights! We are very pleased with this purchase.

  • Great Gaming Rig
Runs all the games I need it to. Shipped clean and fast and works like it’s suppose to out of the box. I will say the GPU it comes with does not have any RGB other than that nice computer.

  • Better than expected!
Purchased this recently, and it came with a tower cpu cooler which in my opinion looks so much better than the cooler shown in the product pictures. The winner for me though was that it came with dual channel RAM! I do recommend this PC for those looking not to spend too much and still get great performance. ... show more
