I do not think this is a bad quilt for some situations. I did not expect it to be true patchwork because hello, that costs several hundred more, but I did want it to be more vibrant and more quilt-like. This was, for me, too pastel and too 'girly' and too lightweight. I wanted pop, and this doesn't. I wanted a light quilt, but I wanted some substance to it, and this does not have that. I put this king size quilt on my queen size bed so the sides would be long enough. Perfect! I didn’t need the shams due to having a queen bed, so I compromised and bought one king pillow and it looks cute in my pale blue bedroom.
