These Lights Are So Great, Bought Them Three Times I originally bought 2 sets of lights as I planned to give one set as a gift, but the intended recipient no longer sews. My “second best” machine had inadequate lighting, and the improvement was remarkable once the lights were installed. My primary machine had pretty good lighting, but now it’s bright and easy to see what I’m doing. Recently, I bought a third machine, more for portability and fun. Once again, the lighting was totally inadequate, but improved 1000% as soon as the strip was installed. It’s a bit awkward as each machine is different; but if you take your time and follow the instructions, it only takes 5 minutes.

Overall, just OK. Does not stay stuck, mainly because the covering on the 3M strip wasn't completely attached when item arrived. It was stuck here and there, but most of the sticky part was exposed and not really that sticky. It's longer than I needed, but purchased this item based on recommendations from friends. I did cut it down to proper size so it fits where I need it on my sewing machine (on the under side of the head). It adds SOME light to the area, but nothing fantastic. Definitely need to attach it with some heavier 2-sided tape (like gorilla tape possibly) so it stays in place. Will be interested in how long it lasts. Wouldn't purchase again, though.
