Description

This patented 4,000 BTU liquid propane heater connects directly to a 1 lb. LP cylinder and is the perfect solution for heating in a golf cart. The unit features a wind resistant burner and pilot system for optimal heat output in windy conditions and when the golf cart is moving. It also features a unique safety tip over switch that minimizes nuisance shut-offs when driving on bumpy cart paths. The integrated handle and cup holder adapter make this unit easy to transport and compatible with most golf cart cup holders. To light the unit push then hold the ignition button and the integrated Piezo sparking mechanism will take care of the rest. With the oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) you can be sure that you will enjoy years of comfortable safe heat. One button push ignition/on function. 4,000 BTU wind resistant burner and pilot system. Arrived on time, upon opening the heater I found it was much larger than I had anticipated. The unit is very top heavy and the cup holder adapter wouldn't work with my CFMoto SxS. I ended up bolting the unit to my grab bar. I used the heater last weekend for a 50 mile ride, it functioned well. The tip shut off did not cause any issues when hitting bumps at higher speeds. Bought this for my annual January golf trip. Heater works great and actually kept the cart warm. Only downside is the cup holder adapter was loose and if you hit a bump it would wiggle and fall out the cup holder. A simple adjustable swivel base would solve the problem.

I ordered in Oct.....but it hasn't been cold enough to use until today. It worked like a charm. Easy to start. No noise. It really kept us warm. It didn't use an entire canister, but, hard to know how much it used. I was really impressed and would highly recommend this product so you can get a few more golf days in!! ... show more

The included base has metal prongs that seem like they should hold the base tight in the cup-holder, but the whole heater is top heavy and any little bit of jarring will pop it out. I purchased this unit thinking it would be a great way to get some cheap heat in my enclosed cab Polaris Ranger. It does not fit in the cup holders on the dash and will pop out of the center, lower cup holders. I also tried to install it in a kolpin center console and that was worse. Definitely not the right heat application for the job without making a custom mount. I installed the propane cylinder and it took several clicks for it to ignite. Not a big deal since it was a new heater and new tank. I didn't notice much initial smell like burning lint or packing oil. Once fired up it operates fine and would kick out plenty of heat for my application. I like the fact that it has a wind screen on it and I could see where that would be a benefit for outdoor use. I have a few ideas on how to secure this in my ranger for snow plowing and fall/spring trail riding applications, but as is I can't recommend it. I subtracted 1 star for the flimsy base that would affect any cup-holder type application (not just golf carts) and 1 star because the item isn't returnable. I would probably subtract an additional star for my general disappointment in this product and transaction, but that wouldn't be fair. ... show more
