pH neutral and good replacement for the thin glass test tubes that break. For pH test solution, add 6 ml of aquarium water and the 3 drops of test solution. Also works for other tests, such as ppm.

For plastic tubes they are a 5 out of 5, but anyone testing samples all the time for a new fish tank, who hasn't previously done a whole lot of tube liquid testing, may not know that these are almost opaque plastic. That does make it harder to match you colors for test scores. No doubt.

I travel very often for work and its usually 1-2 day trips. I need mouthwash but carrying around a 3oz bottle is just impractical when you are trying to pack ultra light/minimalistic. I put this in my cosmetic case in my carry on and it did not spill or leak at all during my plane ride. Its perfect for about 2 uses of mouthwash. It is smaller than a mascara and im sure i will get many more uses out of it.

If you're looking for perfect replacements for the glass tubes that come with the API aquarium test kit, these are it. I got these after two of my API tubes shattered on me from shaking them or closing the tops too hard. In comparison, these... - Are plastic, so they withstand more abuse. - Are slightly wider, enough that the tip of the test bottles can fit into the tube. This makes adding the drops much easier and makes the bottles more stable when upright. - Have twist tops rather than snap-on tops, so you don't put a ton of pressure on the bottles as you continuously remove the top and put it back on. These are absolutely better than the tubes that come with the test kit in every way.

Only reason why I purchased the test tubes was to replace glass test tube with "CLEAR" plastic test tubes, as the picture used for Amazon shows it is clear. My picture shows different as you can see. API test tube is glass and clear as Z - color is plastic and frosted. The quality is good, I thought it would have been more clear.
