i installed this kit on my 2016 wrangler 2 door with factory half doors, so no power locks or key with built-in remote. so this kit with 2 remotes was ideal. installation was easy. i read the programming instruction multiple times to be sure i did it correctly. the jeep steering collum shroud was a bit challenging to get off but thats a jeep issue not the starter kit. so start to finish, it took an hour. the key fob range is excellent.

Works fantastic however, sending out units with wiring harnesses pinned incorrectly and adding how to correct that yourself shouldn't be the fix. How about correcting them before shipping them, seems like that would be the proper fix. I wouldn't call that plug-n-play.

The directions focused so much on what not to do, they left little room for what was to do. After programming it says test the system but does not say how. I think they meant use your key and start vehicle because the remote will not work until you complete the next step which is connecting the antenna. Otherwise easy installation if you have the right torque bit small enough to fit in the hole that Jeep made because: Jeep Oh ya and step one should be removing the piece of plastic under the steering column before taking the steering column apart.

This is the first review I have written. My wife owns Jeep 2011 that is so basic, without power locks and has roll up windows. Asked the question if this would work on Amazon, and seller came back with a yes. They were so right,, works great! So easy to install and programing was a tad challenge. Bought the remote start that uses your cell phone since my Jeep does not have key fobs. Very simple install, plug and play. Everything programmed correctly. My phone app shows that it is communicating with the Jeep. Jeep will not start using remote start though. Not much info. on troubleshooting so I’m not exactly sure the problem. Have pulled everything back apart and gone over everything twice now. Found a video on YouTube on installing a similar model with key fobs, but didn’t show me anything that would help. Not sure what to fix to make it work. Sent an email to customer support and I’m waiting on a response. Will update with any new info. when I get something.

I have a 2016 jeep wrangler and this starter sounded too good to be true- but its not, it actually works! I have installed car starters before (having to splice wires, etc). I had some issues with the module not working, and then the long range antenna not working- reached out to customer service, they respond quick and send possible solutions to the problem. When those solutions didn't work, they sent out replacement parts to fix it. The starter works exactly as it should! Overall, product is great- easy install, great customer service.
