    • Very quick install, and it WORKS!
Total labor is to remove two screws, and then snap in two in line harnesses. The programming is tedius, so take your time and be patient. Involves using your desktop to flash the little computer that comes with it. You basically wire it in, do some steps with the key. Then you remove it (three little clip on harnesses) and bring it in to your desktop, and run a program you download. THEN, you go back out, reconnect it and do a few more steps (turn key, watch for blinking light, turen key back...), and DONE. Actually works. Money well spent. ... show more

Insanely easy to install . The biggest pain was the programming on the computer but that was due to the laptop not the starter . Get this and save you some time.

    • STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR 14’ RAM 1500! EASY!!

The media could not be loaded. I can’t believe how easy this was to install and program! Maybe 30 minutes from start to finish with programming. You do jump around in the instructions a bit, but it’s incredibly easy, just follow the instructions. Downloading the firmware was easy. Sign up, check your junk mail for activation email, activate account. Download what the book says to download. Works for Mac and windows. STEP BY STEP (2014 RAM 1500), 1. Install new obd T-harness. 2. Remove dash panel. 3. Install “main T-harness” ignition harness to ignition. 4. Connect main t-harness to new obd harness via the canbus connector. 5. While connecting black connector to module, hold reset button, hold until red light flashes on module. 6. Connect blue and white connectors to module. 7. Close driver door. 8. Open driver door. 9. Press unlock multiple times on factory key fob until module LED flashes green. 10. Turn Key to ON position and wait for LED on module to turn solid red. (I accidentally started mine, but it worked.) 11. Turn key off 12. Remove key 13. Insert key and start vehicle. 14. Wait for LED on module to flash green and remove key. 15. Disconnect blue and white plug from module FIRST! 16. Disconnect black module plug LAST. 17. Head inside to flash module on computer. Internet access needed to sign up and download Weblink Desktop Software. 18. Click “Sign up” button in top right corner at weblinkupdater.com 19. Sign up. 20. Check JUNK mail for activation email. 21. Resend activation link if email doesn’t show up within a minute. 22. Download weblink desktop software. 23. Plug in module with supplied USB adapter. 24. Open Weblink software. 25. Click Weblink RS. 26. Click “Start Extended Programming”. 27. Click “Continue Extended Programming”. 28. Once complete, unhook module and head back out to vehicle. 29. Reconnect module, all three plugs. White, blue, black. (If colors haven’t changed) 30. Turn key to ON position. 31. LED should turn solid GREEN for 2 seconds. According to the book, of it doesn’t turn green, try proceeding anyway. (It came on for me). 32. Turn key to OFF position. 33. Start the vehicle. 34. Turn off the vehicle and remove key. 35. Get out and close door. 36. Press lock button on key fob 3 times. 37. Vehicle starts!!!!!! 38. Unlock vehicle 39. Open door, get in, close door. (Important for anti-theft) 39. Insert Key and turn to run position. 40. Press brake. 41. Select Drive or Reverse. 42. Go for a test drive! 36-41 have to happen in that order every time you start the truck or the truck will go into anti-theft and shut off. I saw a lot of complaints about this, but I love it because it protects you as the owner!! Very simple! Pretty impressed with myself and you will be too! 😉 ... show more

Is about 10 months using this and most of the time works fine. Was easy to install. Is working fine. Few things that i found: *While truck was running, i unlocked the doors and i opened the left rear door and truck stopped. Not sure if that supposed to happen. *One other time i found my truck running and locked and i never started in the first place, so not sure at this point what happened. *As for if you have the truck running from the remote, and then you open the door the truck should stop in 45 sec. if you do not doing nothing (i mean put the keys in the ignition and turn it on, and foot on the brake pedal) - this never worked for me, will try again and update this if it works as their manual say. >But 95-98% works as it should.     • 2017 RAM 2500 Easy as pie!!
2017 RAM 2500 works perfect. I just installed it within 30 mins. super easy! There are videos that are done on a 2017 ram 1500 and its basically the same. Wire it up and follow the pamphlet! The part where you have to go onto the computer and flash it was alittle nerve racking but i didnt have a single problem. once it flashed i up plugged it, threw it back in the truck. turned it to start and off a few times then closed the door and 3x the lock. vroom! right up. Its going to come in cluch for the winter! Just remember it only stays running for 15 mins! which should be plenty of time to warm up. Great buy! ... show more

Installed on a 2016 Ram 1500. The in vehicle programming was a breeze but the instructions aren't the clearest as far as the computer programming portion goes, after googling the program it said i needed to download, I was able to download the correct software and flash the module. Start to finish it took roughly 30 mins. Would buy this brand again if I ever need another aftermarket remote start. ... show more
