One of our key fobs quit working for our Dodge Grand Caravan, so saw this device online. It comes with one key fob and the device to program, which can program up to eight replacement fobs. Much cheaper than the estimates we were given from the dealer and it took only a couple of minutes to program. Now it works perfectly. This worked perfectly and was easy to setup the new key it came with. New key is great and responsive. Only issue is I wanted to reset my old keys to see if I could get them to work again with this tool, directions say the tool can be reused but only on the same vehicle. But when I reconnected to the same vehicle it was saying it was a different vehicle and would not work. ... show more

There are a few times that I purchase products that exceed my expectations to the point that I feel compelled to write a review and this is one of those times. I purchased this not sure as to whether it would work as advertised or not. Simple put, it did. It took me about 15 minutes to program four keys. All of them were able to start the vehicle, unlock/lock and remote start. I have a 2012 Ram 1500 and had three Ram 1500 OEM keys that no longer worked after the dealer replaced the ignition module. I was looking at either having to pay $90 per key to have them reprogrammed or paying for this. I gave this a try and am glad I did. I know have 4 programmed keys plus the original I started with. Saved me over $200 plus a trip to the dealership. Hopefully the keys continue to function properly. If for some reason they don't I'll update this review. ... show more

Instruction was clear and easy to follow. Worked right away after paired with my van. The only flaw I noticed was that it doesn't work at your first try when you use it after long term. I don't know how to explain this but every morning when I unlock the door, it doesn't work at first try. After that, it works great but only the first use in the morning or first use after a while it seems like it doesn't work... Maybe it needs time to recognize the signal? but this has been my case. This is an incredible product! It took maybe 3 minutes to reprogram and it's working just great. I bought this for my personal RAM and am saving the cord for my fleet of Dodges. Bc you never know when you'll need it again. Highly recommend.

Omg this was easy and works just like everyone said. I wanted a couple videos to make sure I did it correctly. This saved me so much my Ram dealer wanted $275.00 and have my truck for a day.
