Description

This reed is designed to produce a quality of extremely pure sound due to a very thin reed tip (the area of Reed with maximum vibration), being balanced by a solid vertebral column (more cane in the area which climbs gradually to the heel). These reeds are recognizable by a straight line to delineate the limit of the area of bark. The favorite reed of classic saxophonists worldwide since marcel Mule, it has always been (and is still) used with equal success by many players.

I was thrilled to find these reeds for this price on Amazon! I was initially looking at $70 for the same thing, so I was very happy to save a significant chunk of change ordering them on Amazon. My son loves the reeds, and they produce a nice sound, very pleased with the quality of them.

I used these reeds throughout all 7 years of my band classes in school, and have rarely gotten any bad reeds in a pack. These are by far the favorite reeds out of everyone I've asked. def should buy these reeds if your looking for a first time purchase, and continuing purchases.

Beautiful classical tone from these reeds. They also give me power in the low register, and easy accessibility to the higher register. Articulation is easy to play with going from soft to loud technical passages.
