Very easy to use. What I love best is that if you are using this for your personal vehicle it remembers that last CCA you set. I love the memory function of screen captures of the last 10 screen shots. The data transfer of these images can be useful. This unit seem very modern with its user interface and features. I'm am amazed that there are many features yet the device is not complex to use. I like that there is no concern for battery in the device as it is powered by the battery that you are testing. The display is very easy to read. If I were to knock it for one thing it would be that the clips are a bit on the small side and although I've not had a problem connecting it to my battery terminals it would have been easier if they were are little bit larger.

Great little tester. Helped confirm that one of my 2 batteries was failing under load and the other was barely keeping up. Diesels are hard on batteries so this tool will be handy for keeping them up to the job.

I purchased this unit and used it to evaluate batteries in a 2020 LEXUS 460GX and a 2017 Grand Cherokee with 2 batteries with START/STOP. This unit was awesome at evaluating both cars. The LEXUS only has 1 battery and it was easy to evaluate. The Jeep has 2-batteries, the main and a auxiliary for the start/stop function. All the online comments state that you need to separate the batteries in the Grand Cherokee to use a battery tester. I determined that this is not the case with this unit. I tested each battery with the unit and the car NOT running and got separate readings for each battery, without isolating the auxiliary battery. I then tested them again removing the auxiliary battery negative which ALL the on line post state you need to do and guess what!!! Same readings. This is an awesome unit. As a side note I use a Battery Minder 1510 on all our cars to keep the batteries in good condition. That is why my 2017 Grand Cherokee still has the ORIGINAL battery today 08/12/2025

Nice functions but the screen scratches with your finger nail. For the price it seems fair. However two brand new batteries only test 79.5 percent on life/ load test. Not sure if that’s normal.

The MOTOPOWER MP0515A 12V battery tester is an excellent tool for checking battery health. Setup is easy. Simply connect the clamps to the appropriate terminal on the battery and it powers on immediately. The color screen is bright and easy to read and clear menus that make operation intuitive even for a first-time user. I tested it on several batteries ranging from small mower batteries to larger automotive ones (100–2000 CCA range), and the readings were consistent. It quickly shows voltage, CCA, and battery condition. This is a solid tester that is beginner/user friendly. Pleased with the purchase and giving it 5 stars.

I really like this tester for 12V auto/motorcycle batteries. It provides what appear to be repeatable test results for internal resistance and CCA. I've had one for three years and the results seem to be consistent with the actual battery condition. I have a 100A resistive load test and it's a good tool for GOOD/BAD diagnosis. But, it's hard to assess the changes in between "good" and "bad". With this digital tester, I can see the State of Health (SOH) change over time from 100% to 0%. This is practical information to help me manage the fleet of batteries that support my ever growing cylinder index. Good quality and excellent value.

A great little device for the money. Does everything you need to diagnose battery and charging issues. Given CCA figures are only estimates, but will still show a weak or weakening battery. I have recommended this to another person and will continue to do so.
