Horrible design. The middle bolt fell off and nut went into engine causing 6k$ in repairs. Don’t buy this item!!!!!! Would give a negative star if possible

Product was very easy to install and looks great. Sounds good when on the throttle, has that sucking in of air sound. I modified it to accept the Willie G skull emblem that was on my original intake.

Took about 10 minutes to install. I chose not to install the center piece due to the previous reviews. Even with locktite it’s not worth the risk of engine failure lol. Only other issue was the pieces that connect to the heads were short. I ended up reusing the ones from my previous air cleaner. They would have vibrated like crazy!

Looks great and sounds great. Quality of the backing plate is solid, as is finish. If your legs are bigger, you’ll have to account for the air cleaner moving into your space with your floor boards/brake pedal. -1 star no instructions. Even skilled mechanics appreciate instructions from the supplier so as to be best prepped for a quick and accurate install, and to account for what’s different as was the case with the new air pressure control bolts and rubber boots. -1 star for cheapness of hardware, it’s literally nickels and dimes to give the user quality hardware. The bolts which go into the heads were highly suspect, flaking off small pieces of metal, barely any head depth for a socket, apply very even pressure to tighten. And they would not tighten up on my bike and given these bolts add to air pressure management (hollow center with rubber air control tubes, which you get no instructions as to what these are - whereas OEM has this all contained within the bolts). I had to use 3/8” flat washers between the backing plate and hardware to tighten the bolts without bottoming them out which may crack your head and/or restrict the airflow needed. I had to use my air gun and plug the air intake to blow out the metal flakes off the bolt heads - metal shavings down the air intake, not good. For sure use blue lock tight on the center decorative bolt, I also applied around the edge bolts holding the filter on to the backing plate. Happy with it, not at all happy with hardware quality.

Fit as I hoped

I put Reinhardt slippn’s on my 2016 Road Glide. However, I felt it was time to get a stage one so I changed out the stock air intake and tried this one and I saw the difference after the first 25 miles. It took approximately 10 minutes to install. Make sure that you use blue Loctite on all of the screws.

Nearly killed my engine. Design flaw. The bolt that holds the lil bullet in the center came loose , ended up in the engine. Luckily I was able to repair. But others might not be so lucky. They are lucky I don't sue.
