  • Wow so well built !!!
Size: One-Point Manual Lift
This kit is SUPER heavy duty... actuator arms made of 7 gauge steel! Super hardware... grade 5 with plenty of washers for pivot points. Nylon lock nuts on all the big pivots ... beautiful thick blacl powder coated parts throughout ... Normally i dont do reviews... i figure things should be made pretty well... this item is way over engineered... a true high value for your dollar... i lubed each joint and thread when assembling... this thing is bomb proof... im running a boxblade from same manufacturer. It too is outstanding quality... used it today ... blade snagged several subsurface roots 1/2- 3/4 " thick and just ripped through them... did not even hiccup.... you will never be sorry you got this ... and im just running it on the the back of my Bad Boy 54" mower.... its a whole new machine now!!!! 5 stars +++ ... show more

  • Tricky assembly
Size: One-Point Manual Lift
1 less star on the rating and 1 less due to assembly. Reasoning..well, assembly is a bit tricky and it’s nicer to have a second set of hands, there are no instructions - just two pictures. Also, I have to use the extension because of side by side usage and the pin hole in the bar does not line up with my 2” receiver, therefore had to drill out the hole. Once assembled and custom fit for the pin, works pretty good. ... show more

  • Tighten it properly and grease it
Size: One-Point Manual Lift
Tighten the bolts properly, if you go too tight it won't move, too loose and it may fall apart, this isn't rocket surgery, but if you put this together and nothing moves, you've messed up. Also, find grease that works for your temperatures, I'm in Northern MN so I needed something that works to -40 or so, and I have that in a grease that works from -75 to over 500 degrees. Grease the threaded rod, a lot, now wind it up and down completely a couple times, now grease it a lot again... if you've used good grease this thing should be smooth and simple to operate, it's amazing what grease can do. Throw it in your rig, see how it sits, adjust height and go, but with the understanding that this isn't a $2k attachment, it's $200, so your truck in 4lo with the 454 big block and 54" mud boggers will tear it apart if you don't mind your throttle. Side load isn't going to be great for it, look at it, should be obvious. Just keep that stuff in mind and maybe slow down when needed, be a little more careful in those areas... Also, add weight racks or bins or whatever to the implements and add weight to them to get them to work better, really torquing down on this arm and using the implement leveraged against vehicle will wear hard on this, you can do it, but adding weight to the implements would be a far better plan. Let that weight get them to dig down, scrape the driveway easier and so on, instead of torquing this arm till it screams. So, it works... After greasing and running her up and down a few times, she's smooth, easy to operate, quick. I actually use it with my truck, using the blade to pull snow at the moment. Updated 12/15/23: Ordered another one point lift as the bolt holes broke on one part of the first, that's fine enough, I'll live. What isn't fine is that the new one came missing major pieces, I was able to pirate them from the broken one, but this thing was packaged abysmally, I don't even understand how a person would do this and send it out and think it's remotely ok. So, down to 3/5 stars. I now see they have an updated Heavy Duty version of this lift, would have gone that route but a moot point now, imagine I'll go that route in the future though. ... show more

  • Worked well for a few minutes
Size: One-Point Manual Lift
Bought this as well as the impact box blade to use with my Polaris Ranger UTV. Upon assembly and mounting to my UTV the product seemed solid and dependable. After raising and lowering the blade a handful of times over my first 15 minutes of use the handle was getting very hard to turn and metal shavings appearing as if the long threaded rod had become cross threaded some how and now I can no longer raise or lower the blade at all. Wondering if I should have sprung for the hydraulic version and sort of kicking myself now. ... show more

  • Worked great...had to make one change
Size: One-Point Manual Lift
Heavy duty unit, simple to assemble. I just needed to add extra washers in between te hinged arm lift. The spacing helped a lot.
