My only complaint about this is that it says detects up to 40 feet. My house is probably about 60 feet from the road and all four we installed detect every passing car and there's no sensor control to dial back the detection sensitivity so they go on and off all night long, kind of defeats the purpose. Might as well just turn them on full all the time. But I suppose if your setting is further away from a street they'd be great.

Installation was easy and the pieces were well packed to protect them during shipping. It works fine with my dimmable LED bulb but you could use incandescent if you really wanted to. The glass is thicker than I expected for the price and has a nice pattern. I like that you can override the on/dim setting if you just want the light on for the night and that it goes back to the normal setting the next day so you don't have to remember to change anything back. Perfect for Halloween if you want the neighborhood kids to know you have treats. And I really like having the lower light level when there's no one on the porch to reduce light pollution. However the motion detection is very sensitive and there's no way to turn down the sensitivity level. I've improvised a solution with some thin plastic and electrical tape to lower the sensitivity and reduce how wide the angle is to minimize traffic on our cross street setting off the light and it seems to be working pretty well. Overall I'm pretty happy with this, it looks nice with our house style and feels pretty sturdy, but the lack of sensitivity controls may be problematic depending on where you install it.

Was hoping for a true motion detection light but this is a dusk to dawn light. We expected this light to turn off completely at night and only turn on when movement is detected, but it always stays on night, with a dimmable bulb it’s pretty bright, when there is movement it gets only slightly brighter. We liked our old one better before it quit working, it only turned on when it detected movement and turned off depending on what you set it to between 2-5 minutes. The looks is nice, the material is hefty and feels durable. We would not get again and cannot recommend this for a motion sensor light.

We installed this at the back of the house. It works great. The low light is on from dusk to dawn. When racoons come near, it turns to 100%, thus scaring them away. Great invention, well worth the money. It's also very stylish.

This fixture looks really beautiful even with the motion sensor on top. I had no issues getting it set up and installed. The color is exactly as shown in the pictures. Please note that the bulb is not included with this fixture. It requires a dimmable bulb in order for the motion sensor capabilities to be used properly. Otherwise, this is a great fixture and the aesthetic is very nice as compared to most other motion sensor lights which look like spotlights.
