The media could not be loaded. I got this for the first time ever. It's a very good option if you can't hang lights at the edge of your home. We got a new house and my husband didn't want me to hang lights bc he is afraid that the edge of the roof will get damage , so I found this as an alternative. I'm very happy so far. Just got it few days ago. The remote is a little tricky to understand. Just read carefully the instructions. When it's says that to turn on and off the timer it flashes 2 times, but you have to look at the actual lights that are projecting on the wall or the surface, is not on the remote (small red light) that flashes when you turn it on and off manually. The red light of the actual remote will turn on and off for other features. When set correctly it does turns on and off by itself. I love it ! ... show more

    • Worked great! Then stopped. :-(
12/3/22 Review: I purchased it in December 2021. It worked great last season! I set it up again this season and it works great for a couple of days. Then it just stopped. :-( Product is exactly one year old. I checked connections, remote batteries etc. Everything seems in order. And the electrical outlet works if I plug in other light displays from other manufacturers. Just *this* projector does not work. I took a look back at other customers‘ Amazon reviews of the products and I now see that having the product just stop working is actually a rather frequent occurrence. I looked back at the return policy from Amazon: it looks like my return window closed on January 2022. Sigh… 12/5/22 Update: I reached out to the manufacturer who responded very quickly and asked me a few questions via email to diagnose the problem. They indicated that the problem is likely the power supply and they have indicated that they are sending me a replacement power supply. I will update the review with additional information when it becomes available. (Note that the fast response time of the manufacturer is praiseworthy. However, given that others in the Amazon comments section have indicated that power supplies have been a problem with this product in the past, not quite sure why the manufacturer would not have proactively addressed this issue previously.) 12/11/22 Update: I received the new power supply and the unit is working again. As such, I changed stars from 1 to 3. (Would have been 5 stars if did not experience the outage problem, which is apparently not a new / unique problem for customers. But the mfr did respond promptly to fix it.) ... show more

    • Worth the money!
We did a little research before purchasing this, and it paid off. This lighting system is super simple to use. Setup is very easy and it comes with a lock so nobody can come along and steal it. We used some extra chain and locked it to our tree. The remote control works from inside the house. You have to get to where a window is and can't be too far off from the device. For reference, our house is 2300 SF and 2 stories, so it's not small. We put the light back about 20 feet or so (I'm guessing - it may have been less) and the images projected covered the entire house rather easily. It also projected onto the ground which made it look really neat. We enjoyed how the image is constantly changing on this device - colors and shapes. My husband was so happy he didn't have to hang Christmas lights this year. I'd also add that I haven't seen anyone else who has the same projector light, so it's nice to have a Christmas display that doesn't look just like all of the other neighbors. ... show more

    • Stunning light effect!
The media could not be loaded. See my attached video for a short demonstration. This is a cool lighting device and looks amazing in trees. I first saw this device at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. While it might be advertised to display against a house, I would say it for the firefly effect it is far more effective in trees and shrubs. This so that the laser points can “flicker” between the leaves for a true fire-fly effect. The lights are surprisingly bright to me and the number is amazing. And the spread is almost even too much as you may find points going into neighboring homes. Suffice to say it’s a broad and stunning effect. In my case I actually had a product defect, which was apparently just the transformer, not the main last device. To their credit, LedMall was immediately responsive, which carried over to other questions. They were immediately ready to send out whatever parts needed to fix the situation. So I have a lot of confidence in the product support. I will note this: I bought the supposed “8 in 1” device but apparently received only the firefly device. This is on Amazon in this case. But I only wanted the firefly effect so there is no issue there. But apparently with the “8 in 1” you can’t select just one moving effect: the device cycles through all eight patterns unless it is paused on one. This would have been a deal-breaker for me and it is not otherwise specified in product description or documentation. Bottom line: if you’re just interested in the firefly effect look for the device that does only that (which is less costly, also) Based on the spectacular performance of this device and also the product support I am already looking to add other products from LedMall. ... show more
