I really love the clock, I think the design and quality are quite nice for the price. However, I'm somewhat short sighted, and while the wooden needles are a great style point, they don't make for enough of a contrast with the background to be visible from a distance of 8-9 ft. For the same reason, I also can't tell the time once it's a little dark, and since early hours of the morning are right around when I need to know how much longer I have to sleep, it doesn't quite serve the purpose for me. The Mosewa 14" wall clock is a beautiful black-faced wall clock with rose-gold numbers. While we have yet to hang it, we look forward to using it on a specific wall near our dining room. Be careful upon receiving it. The first shipment came in damaged at the edges of the clock. The second try, was delivered without delay, with no damage whatsoever. I hope it will show accuracy but we've yet to hang it. It is supposedly not a noisy clock either. I hope to confirm that soon. ... show more

Originally bought a similar wall clock from ikea. Liked the design but it kept lagging and the hands key striking each other as ikea sells it without a cover on. This came well packaged and going well after a year and like just as great with the black and gold motif. Good on batteries too.
