Fit my 2018 Ram 1500 perfectly. Just slip it on and give it a couple of taps with a small hammer or the handle of a screw driver and it's solidly in place. Beats running a cable and pad lock around the spare and frame.

I chose the spare tire winch and the tire lock based on my vehicle model and year. They didn't match and I had the time set aside to do the install.....that sucks!!! I think someone listed the wrong application or year. I had to modify the set up substantially by drilling a hole through the lock portion (hardened steel). The install was frustating and took way longer than it should have.I wish someone would have caught the mismatch at Amazon!!! ... show more

The instructions could have more clearly explained how the lock is to be installed. Once we figured that out all went well. I think this will keep my $350 spare tire and wheel in my posession
