Reliable Heavy-Duty Jack Stands for Safe Car Maintenance Excellent set of jack stands. I’ve used them several times this week on both my SUV and sedan, and they’ve proven to be strong, stable, and easy to work with. The all-steel construction feels very solid, and the wide base keeps everything steady once the car is up. The 3-ton capacity gives me plenty of confidence, and I haven’t noticed any wobble or shifting while working underneath. The ratcheting height adjustment works smoothly and locks in securely. At first, the release lever was a little stiff, but after a few uses it loosened up and now feels natural to operate. The finish is holding up well, with only minor scuffs from regular use. They’re a bit heavy to carry, but that extra weight actually adds to the sense of sturdiness and reliability. For routine maintenance like oil changes, brake jobs, and tire rotations, these stands have been perfect. They feel much more robust than cheaper, flimsier versions I’ve owned in the past.
