APlusLift HW-8S 4-post car auto lift truck hoist is a portable parking storage lift with 8000 LB Capacity. The design of the car lift model is time tested for 30 years. It is built with quality materials and good workmanship and is powder coated for superior corrosion resistance. The car lift uses a revolutionary high efficient 110V 1.5HP hydraulic power unit to make car lift operation much safer. The auto hoist is best for parking/storage/service use by homeowners or restoration shops.The package includes a caster kit with polyurethane wheels, a jack tray, three drip trays, two removable approach ramps, and a powercord. The caster kit allows customers to move the lift around the garage easily. The jack tray allows customers to use a jack to lift one end of the vehicle. The drip trays prevent fluid from the top vehicle from dripping. The removable approach ramps allow a vehicle to be driven onto two runways. Purchased to store our classics. Took quite a few days due to no instructions. Receive hardware but you couldn’t be sure where they went watch how you place the front and back bars (the horizontal ones) it does make a difference from front to back when it comes to putting in the long and short rods for the locking mechanism. I already owned four (four-post) lifts made by a different brand. When purchasing this lift, it had several better features that I did not expect. 1. The cables were pre-routed under the ramps so the trouble of figuring out where they should go has been eliminated... and it makes the assembly process quicker. 2. The fluid reservoir for the pump is transparent so you can see how high you fill the oil. 3. The casters on the included caster kit seem nicer than others I have used. 4. It shipped and arrived very quick. Customer support has been great, was missing release knob and drip trays were damaged during packing, but the vendor is replacing. At this time I am very happy with my lift. I would recommend at least 1 helper, otherwise assembly will be challenging. It is fairly heavy. I used my floor jacks, and engine hoist to help with heavy lifting. ... show more

It was a very easy process to order. Putting together was simple an self explanatory. Be prepared to deal with the weight when putting together. I used 2 people and an engine hoist. Everything seems to be in order and operating well.
