Description

Size:1.5ft Monoprice's line of Professional Audio cables brings you high performance cables at rock bottom prices. . Whether you're connecting broadcast equipment instruments for your band or your high end entertainment system Monoprice has the interconnect cables for you. Balanced audio cables utilize impedance balanced lines that reduce EM and RF noise and extend the effective range of the cable run. Additionally unlike standard unbalanced RCA interconnects that utilizes their braid as a signal return balanced cables have a separate braided shield to provide additional resistance to interference without modulating the interference into the signal. This prevents ground loop issues. 1/4" TRS/Stereo Phono Plug cables can provide noise free connections between balanced pro audio equipment or sonic bliss for stereo phono connections. Our high quality cables ensure excellent performance for either application. 97. 5% braided shielding rejects noise from RF and electromagnetic interference.

  • Great replacement cable!
Size: 6ft
So, get this. I bought this Behringer HA-400 Compact 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier and Accessory Bundle w/ 4X Stereo Headphones only to find that the included audio link cable was MONO. *groan* Since I don't prefer to listen to myself (or my fellow podcasters) out of ONE earphone, I bought this cable to rectify the issue. I was a perfect fix and I have been pleased. We can now all go deaf in both ears as opposed to one. Check out our podcast that utilizes this very cable by tuning into "A Night Out With Microphones" on Spotify, Soundcloud and iTunes! Yes, that is a shameless plug in my review. So what?! Don't judge. Thanks for reading. ... show more

  • Keep testing these cables, 4 out 8 shorted. Monoprice stood behind their product!
Size: 25ft
I am in pro audio & video for 30 years. I recently bought new Bose L1 Model II speakers and needed patch cables. I bought 8 cables, some different lengths or ends. After 6 months I noticed one speaker was lower in volume and then eventually cutting off. I tested the cables and 3 of the 8 cables have a short between the RING & SLEEVE conductors. They tested fine when I received them new. If you own and of the Monoprice cables, I recommend that you test them with meter for shorts between the conductors. I cut the ends off the cable and tested ends and they were fine. The cable was still shorted with no ends on it. I put a meter on one end and cut 12" off one section at a time until the short was gone so I could locate the bad section. I opened the bad section of cable and it has the 2 inner wires, black and white coated, plus the bare copper shielding. THE BLACK WIRE HAD THE SHEATH PULLED APART ABOUT 1/4" AND THE COPPER WIRE UNDERNEATH WAS EXPOSED AND TOUCHING THE COPPER SHIELD WIRE WHICH CREATES A SHORT IN THE CABLE BETWEEN THE RING AND THE SLEEVE. In all fairness, if rolling them up normally or walking on them lightly a few times on stage causes this then its my fault but I have never in 30 years had any cable ever fail internally, its always been the cable end connectors that go bad or get loose. *******UPDATE 6-28-14******** I contacted Monoprice and they provided excellent customer service. I returned the cables to them and they are looking at them to see what may have cause the problem. I will continue to use these type of Monoprice cables because of the quality and 16 awg but will test them frequently. *******UPDATE 8-9-14********* I went to do a show and tested my cables before using and another one is shorted! This is getting old. Out of 8 cables, 4 have gone bad within months. The ends are not the problem, its the inner sheath covering the small black wire, its pulling apart and shorting out with the sleeve shielding wire on 3 cables but this one is short tip & ring. I will contact Monoprice again. I never use these cables without testing them and I'm not happy with them since I cant trust them at all. Monoprice is continuing to provide great customer support to replace the defective cables. Monoprice replaced all my defective cables and I am still using Monoprice cables. They work great and I love the 16 gauge wire. I just test them occasionally. ... show more

  • Current batch are wired wrong - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Size: 15ft
I have used these for years with no problems. I have tried 4 cables in the last month and all had hum with the source device powered off. When I unscrewed the shell to examine the wiring, all were wired wrong! The shield was connected to the tip (!) instead of the sleeve and the wire that should have been connected to the tip was wired to the sleeve. This ruins these for balanced audio use since the positive (tip) signal is on the shield and the negative (ring) is on a conductor. There is no telling how many are in the supply chain with incorrect wiring. DO NOT PURCHASE AT THIS TIME!!! ... show more

  • Quality cable
Size: 50ft
I bought this cable to make a wall-mounted jack that I could plug into. This involved cutting the wire and soldering a female fitting to it. I write this because most people won’t ever be able to open up the cable to see how it’s made. This cable is copper, including the shield, and has another continuous shield running along with the mesh shield. I can also verify that the inner wires are copper and the insulation is quite thick, so they should be very durable. ... show more

  • 9 years later, they have the Rockstar cables of my house
Size: 3ft
I recently got some higher end equipment that makes my old sound system sound crappy in comparison. I used these to go from the sound board output to the PA amp. I tried a regular 6' guitar cable and one of these with an A to B comparison, and the noise level on these 3' Monoprice cables is at least 30db less. I work around a lot of IT related equipment that is fairly noisy on the EMF side of things. I'm sure lots of cables will do what I described due to shielding, but 9 years later, they don't crackle when I bend them around (moderately, and not super hard) and still look and feel like they might be newer than 9 years. I hope their quality didn't drop with the pandemic, but if not, these rock! ... show more

  • A well made cable that’s inexpensive too!
Size: 6ft
I have a lot of cables, many from Monoprice, but I didn’t have any balanced TRS to TRS, and needed a couple for a new recording setup I’m trying. These fit the bill perfectly, nice quality gold plated connectors with black metal covers, and good shielded cable in a variety of lengths, what more do you need? I plugged them in and they work, no muss no fuss, clean quiet connections. If and when I need more of these I’ll buy them again. ... show more

  • A+
Size: 1.5ft
The quality on the Mono-price is impressive. I'll be using them professionally on stage so I'll see how well they hold up. Like the life-time guarantee and other reviews look good. I've replaced all of my cables with them instead of ordering Mogami which are like 3x the cost. I've used them at two festivals so far and I'm giving them an A+. Thanks! ... show more

  • GOOD Quality cables, works great with my synthesizer
Size: 10ft
I have a Deepmind 12 Synth that I needed TRS balanced cables. Specifically cables that were long enough to reach my audio interface. These cables are excellent for hooking up to a Synth or Keyboard, The gauge of the wire is good and thick, Gold connectors too, premium quality. As far as sound goes, it sounds very clean and full gain and line level. My Deepmind sounds so lush and warm, having these cables are exactly what I needed. Recommended for those looking for high quality balanced cables. ... show more
