I like these Mokose cameras, their quality seems very good and since they are HDMI they seem quite compatible. I'm using them with an inexpensive video switcher to produce my farm show. I now own two of these cameras, this one with the zoom lens and another with a fixed very-wide angle lens. Both of these cameras are performing reliably and really, there is nothing else I could find (that is complete and premade) that delivers anywhere near the performance, that is VALUE delivered! This one is touchy to focus but it does develop a sharp image when you get it in focus. The amount of zoom is impressive. The lens controls can be locked after you put them where you need them. There are 1/4x20 tripod holes on the Top and Bottom so there are lots of mounting options. The cameras are compact, light weight and are performing well here. They are powered ON 24/7 but they do not have any I.R. night vision (which is fine in my applications, the chickens go to bed at dark anyway). ... show more

Shoping for a cheap streaming cam is a pain. I hope this helps others looking. Yes you can stream directly from the hdmi out of this device with no menus or unwanted script on your screen. It is not as high quality of an image as more expensive camera but it is decent. Manual fucus is difficult due to the lense being so tiny but once locked in it works great as a stationary cam. ... show more

    • Won’t find another camera with these features for the price
Color: With 5-50MM Telephoto Zoom lens
It’s basic, no frills, but overall it’s a pretty solid camera for the price! My opinions: I wish they would get rid of the IR sensor (a remote control is not included for some reason so it’s a useless “feature”) and replace it with a 3.5mm stereo mic input. Also, the single hex screw that secures the lens onto the cameras are never tight from the factory and are extremely tiny and hard to tighten. This leads to the lens getting out of focus when making adjustments to the actual lens adjustments with no instruction on how to reset to a factory spec focus point after it’s been moved. (I’m sure this might be a basic thing for an experienced camera person but if your buying this, you’re probably not experienced enough to know what you’re doing) They should replace this with a thumb screw similar to the ones used to focus the adjustable lens to make it easier to tighten. Color: With 5-50MM Telephoto Zoom lens
Their claim that this does 1080p60 is false advertising. The camera itself only captures 30fps and sends double the frames at 60fps. I've tested this via OBS with Elgato HD60 set to 60FPS and OBS video output set to 60fps as well. Each 30fps frame is sent twice. This camera's quality is much better than the garbage Logitech Streamcam. However, it's also much worse than Mokose's own C100. (I run that Mokose with a capture resolution of 4k. It internally down-samples to the 1080 output. Far better than capturing at 1080.) (The C100 doesn't do 60FPS either btw) Take note; this is an industrial application camera, it doesn't have an IR filter. If you intend to use this for natural light, you must purchase IR-Cut lenses. ... show more

The camera has a permanent blue to the lense on the lower right part. I have taken it apart and cleaned it but havent had any luck removing it. Amazon says I cannot return it.

We've been working with the AIDA HD-100A plus Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro to livestream and record yoga classes during the pandemic. This is a super alternative - nearly perfect form / fit / function, at a much lower price, and includes an optical zoom lens (the AIDA comes with a fixed fisheye; had to buy replacement lenses) About the only thing missing is an audio input (not a biggie - we're mostly running separate audio into the ATEM Mini Pro). The little joystick control is mounted on the camera body which makes it a little touch to adjust without moving the camera, but we're using these for a fly-pack (the AIDA cams are permanently mounted). Time will tell in terms of reliability and have not done a head to head in terms of image quality. Maybe if I'm bored sometime I'll set that up! ... show more
