These splash guards work wonders. I wish I had found them years ago when my son was younger and would kick and splash and make all the bath water slosh out of the tub and all over the floor. He does it. But not to the extreme he used to. We have wall and floor water damage because of it. That could have all been prevented had I bought these earlier. They were very easy to install, and fit against the wall of the tub just right. The sticky tape that is included to attach it to the tub has held it on for months!l It did come with a small tube of caulking to seal the double sided tape in, but I didn’t even use that and it’s still just as strong as ever. If you’ve got kids who take showers (or even if you don’t), you know the struggle. The water’s supposed to stay in the tub, but somehow, it ends up everywhere else—on the floor, the walls, and yes, even leaking into the basement. After years of dealing with this chaos, I finally caved and tried the Silicone Shower Splash Guard, and let me tell you—it’s been a life-saver. What I Love: Easy Installation with Clear Caulk & Double-Sided Tape: The splash guard comes with clear silicone caulk and double-sided tape for installation. The tape really sticks—once you lay it down, there’s no moving it around. It’s stuck for good. So, make sure you get the placement right the first time! The caulk creates a waterproof seal that holds up perfectly, so no leaks have slipped through since installation. Stops the Leaks: After dealing with water constantly leaking out (thanks, kids!), this guard finally kept the water where it belongs. My kids take showers all the time and somehow do not fully close the curtain, so the floor would end up soaked. Now? No more soggy floors, no more leaking into the basement. It does exactly what it promises. Durable and Discreet: I was concerned that the guard might look bulky or out of place, but it actually blends in quite nicely. It’s low-profile, and the silicone material has held up perfectly after several months of use. No signs of wear, and it’s still going strong. The Only Downsides: Tile Surface Matters: My only small issue was that my tiles are a bit textured, not perfectly smooth. So, when I applied the guard, there was a tiny gap in one spot. No biggie though—it was a quick fix! I just gently pressed the guard into place for a minute or two, and that sealed it up perfectly. Problem solved! These work excellently. I have not had any water get around my shower curtain since I installed this. I follwed directions and used the included silicone cement. It has held up for a couple of years now with no problems.
