This yarn is a beautiful deep green, a little prone to splitting when crocheting but not badly. The thread size is a nice medium weight, as indicated, and works up nicely. It is soft, seems durable, and knots well without shredding under pressure. I'm using it to make a granny square afghan, white daisies with yellow centers on this deep green background. I think it will look like a summer field. Since I haven't finished the afghan yet I don't know how well it will wash, but it is very similar to other yarn of that size and feel that I have put through both the washer and dryer, and it has done well. This is very good yarn and feels very soft with a finished product. It does split a little when you’re crocheting. So you have to be somewhat careful to make sure that you’re collecting all the threads. But otherwise I would buy this again in the various colors. Ordered purple and orange to make college colors for my friend. The colors are true; the yarn is incredibly soft. But, I’m disappointed with the number of knots to create the yardage in the skeins and the yarn splitting that makes it difficult to work with.

This yarn is the worst I’ve ever worked with. It split constantly, slowing down my work. I would have to maneuver my hook with each stitch or I would miss or grab a strand and it would get stuck and the stitch would have to be redone.
