I love how this looks in my shower. It took a few days to stay flat, since it came rolled up, so the end wanted to keep curling up, but it stays now. The only downside is it slips a bit after awhile and there will be a pocket of soap on top of it. It took awhile to get used to and I couldn't stand on it for very long at first because I have very sensitive feet, but after about a week, I am used to it and can stand on it. I don't ever feel like it is going to slip out from under me. Though it would definitely be better for a shower that is flat and doesn't have a slant. This shower mat looks good, sticks well to the shower floor, isn't hard to remove and restick, and helps a lot with the slippery shower floor. I have been avoiding the common problem of bacterial slime growing on the bottom of the mat by simply pulling it off of the shower floor and draping it upside-down over the side of the tub to dry after every shower, and no sign of slime yet over the months that I've had it! The suction on this product is very good. It is brand new and seems a bit slippery, but may get more grippy as I use it more. It looks very nice in the bathtub, has great drainage and seems very easy to clean. Can be tossed in the washing machine to clean.

This is the second one of these I have bought for my bathtub. The first one lasted 2 years and still functioned, but the clear plastic had discolored enough that even washing it in the washing machine did not help the appearance. I am trying the black now to see if the vinyl discolors less. My bathtub is enameled cast iron, and I have never had a problem with the mat adhering to the surface nor of the mat being slippery in any way and it is comfortable to stand on. The mat had very little odor right out of the box and none that I can detect after being used. It is a $13 mat, but it works and lasts. ... show more
