  • Great basic faucet
Color: Chrome
When looking for a new kitchen faucet I checked out all the fancy-schmancy designs, but decided to stick with simple but elegant for our humble home. I'm pleasantly surprised with its appearance. Some reviewers complained of restricted water flow with this model, and that worried me, but it doesn't seem that slow to me, and the sprayer is positively rocket-powered. Also, based on some reviews, I was worried that the sprayer would appear to be cheap and flimsy plastic. Again, this fear was not realized. I can't speak to ease of installation because that's a job for which neither my husband nor myself has the patience. Our plumber didn't seem to have any problems installing it. In summary, I think it's a fine, attractive faucet. ... show more

  • Moen faucet with sprayer
Color: Chrome
To start off I am not a plumber, so I have no idea what is quality, or not. I bought this Moen faucet because it's made one state away in Ohio and I know the parts are close at hand. Our local ACE hardware salesman recommended something similar to this and he also mentioned ACE carries the repair parts if that is needed. He also said the Moen warrants their faucets 100% and I like that if something goes wrong. With a 5/8 line wrench and a 5/8 /9/16 open end wrench I disconnected the old faucet. I turned the two plastic hold downs loose and the faucet was out in maybe 10 minutes. Following the directions, which are pretty straight forward with good pictures I installed the new Moen faucet in about 30minutes. This faucet feels and sounds like real metal unlike some of the others, which are plastic. I wanted sturdy metal. The only part which is plastic is the sprayer, which I am assuming won't take that much abuse. So far I am happy with the purchase and the ease of install. I will follow this up in a year once the faucet goes through its work cycles. ... show more

  • Thank heavens the sprayer works well ....
Color: Chrome
Because for the past two years it has been very difficult to rotate the faucet. Bought this in July, 2017 Getting rid of it in December, 2020. . My last faucet lasted 30 years with some cartridge changes. This one is out the door after 3 years. Would never buy it again. Wouldn't install it if it was free, ... show more

  • Basic stylish Moen quality
Color: Chrome
This is a simple single-handle kitchen sink faucet with a seperate sprayer, with a highly polished chrome finish. As is now typical with most all fixtures in this price point, plastic or composite materials are used where applicable - but the sleek and crafted beauty of Moen is still notable and very pleasant to the eye - as it is also present in the design and functionality. The included sprayer’s hose is connected undersink with a single snap-in O-ring-sealed plug - that makes it fast and easy to install, like the other connections of this unit. Since it has its braided supply hoses with 1/2” THD connections - they screw directly on to standard 1/2” THD angle stops (or shut-off) valves - without the need to adapt. The larger center “pipe” column, that encloses the main faucet supply lines etc. mounts on top its escutcheon and rests on the deck of the sink. It is secured underneath the sink using a single large washer and nut in typical fashion. The large nut is “notched out” to ease its placement over its multiple supply line hoses during installation. It additionally utilizes 3 threaded holes drilled/tapped through the nut around the surface of its face - such that after tightening the nut to secure the faucet unit (precisely/straight) on the sink, installing/tightening the 3 provided screws in those holes further secures it to assure it cannot loosen over time (as the faucet handle above is used). The auxiliary sprayer installs using a single large washer and nut from underneath as well, connecting its single hose plug-N-play connection as described above. Rubber gasketing is used where needed on both the large oval faucet escutcheon and the sprayer holder assembly - on the sink deck - to seal out any water from above, reaching underneath. The hot water supply hose is clearly labeled to help make the fast 3 hose hook up simple, correct, and worry free. I found thst like usual - the majority of effort is spent in removing the old plumbing - and Moen kept it that way - making this an easy faucet to install. I recommend it to DIY’ers or anyone else considering this model. It is simple, sleek, beautiful, easy to install, and even has those striking red/blue color “dots” on the chrome (hot/cold) that Moen has become so popular for. ... show more

  • They made some great improvements since the last one I purchased.
This is a very nice faucet that has a quality feel to it and operates very smoothly and is much better then the exact same model I installed about 6 years ago. I was not looking forward to changing this faucet again because its very close quarters under our sink and I remember the last one that was installed. But to my surprise this was a piece of cake because this one came with the supply lines already installed on the faucet and they were braided line ,FANTASTIC. You put the plate down and feed the braided lines down into the hole and by the way the side sprayer is braided too and then its a washer and a screw on kind of a horseshoe type nut that has 3 small bolts. Now you slip the washer and the special nut over the braided line and slide it up to threaded part of the faucet and then screw on the special nut to about 1//2 inch from the bottom of the sink. Now all you do is tighten the three screws alternately until the faucet is secure ,holy cow its almost done. Ok so the side sprayer has a large plastic nut that you tighten until its secure and then it has a quick connect on the faucet supply line and all you do is push it in and push the holding device and its locked. Now connect the hot and cold supply lines , no Teflon tape needed and "PRESTO" its done and I'm one happy guy. ... show more
